The space
The Floating Oasis is a 4 season (fully insulated) houseboat. The boat is 30ft long with 23ft of inside cabin space. The boat has a cozy bed with surrounding windows to watch the sunset and sunrise. The boat has two doors, the front door for the patio and access to the balcony and the back door for fresh air from the sea next to the bed. There is a full turf top deck, perfect for suntanning, star gazing, or yoga! The boat comes with 3 circular windows with netting to open for more fresh air without letting any bugs in and many more rustic features!
There are two 120v batteries and solar panels and a generator for electricity and AC on the boat. There are two USB charging ports connected to our solar system which you can use to charge your phones. THERE IS CELL SERVICE ON THE HOUSEBOAT.
On board is a dry composite toilet and a shower with hot water that lasts up to 5 minutes with maximum heat afterwards, the water is lukewarm and still bearable to shower. If you wait another hour or two there will be more hot water.
There is a lock on the boat from the outside if you need to leave to go to town. (It’s a very quiet and safe place). You can also lock it from the inside.
THE BOAT WILL BE MOORED AND GUESTS CANNOT DRIVE IT.

Please note:
This is not your typical stay. While efforts have been made to preserve the modern conveniences we’ve become accustomed to on land, some of them must be sacrificed while still other conveniences must be accepted. (Limited power and water, no wifi)
Air conditioning is installed but is recommended to only be used during sleep hours or if you intend to stay inside as it requires the generator to be running in order to be used, which is loud outside. Please keep in mind that it takes up to an hour of run time to bring the temperature down inside the boat once the AC has been started, depending on how hot it is outside.
You must bring food and drinks with you just like camping.
