We loved this hotel. It was right in the city of Fira. There are 2 public parking lots right across the street (which is good bc there is no other parking. The only time we had trouble finding a space was right at noon when the school lets out). The beds were very nice, as was the bathroom. We loved the nearby bakery - Piccolo Coffee Spot and a local restaurant - Tholoto. This was such a wonderful experience.

The downside of this property was the bathroom size...it was tiny. The staff were great, location was away from the busy centre but very walkable. Great sunset views, access directly to the trail to Oia or close by bus station if walking is nIt your thing. Adequate cooking facilities which could be improved with a microwave.

We were upgraded to a room with balcony which we use to have dinner and breakfast. The bed was super comfortable and the room was very modern and clean. I appreciated the extensive shelving space which usually is limited in most hotels. The hotel is very close to the main touristic area of Santorini which makes it convenient. We did not use the jacuzzi because the water was very cold. Angeliki was very communicative since the beginning and gave us some tips for exploring the island. It would be nice if the hotel could add some breakfast.

I really enjoyed my stay here -- the location is very convenient and the manager is really helpful and kind -- we arrived on a late flight and she left notes in the room with all the information we needed! The family room was super spacious. We were 2 adults and 2 kids. The kitchen is also great. Overall the location is nice and the staff was very nice. The car rental is very close and firostedaninis just 200m. Loved the stay there

I highly recommend Afrodete hotel. The place is very nice and clean. The staff were very nice providing a lot of information and recomendations that made out trip to Satorini even better. The locations is perfect. Close to public transportation to access the many charming villages of Santorini. Walking distance to Fira city center for dining. This place is awesome. Conveniently located close to Fira, the hotel is an economical option to the hotels with better views. Our room was very comfortable with a great shower and good beds. The outdoor area is large and convenient. The manager Angeliki was so helpful. We definitely recommend the Afrodete hotel.

Lost power due to winds. Not a problem, but the emergency lights in the room turned on and were brighter than the normal lights. And there was no 24 hour emergency contact for staff or management. No way to turn them off or dim them. They only go off after the battery runs down. 3-4 hours. We got very little sleep that night.

The room was larger, more comfortable and cleaner than the much more expensive boutique hotel I stayed in Monistraki. However, it was the staff, especially Angeliki, the hotel owner, that put my stay over the top. She was kind, helpful, easy to chat with and a wealth of information. Two of the restaurants that she recommended were fabulous. Thank you for making my stay a 10/10.

the hotel manager went above and beyond to ensure we can get to the hotel easily and quickly even tho the location is super straightforward to get to. we were given some snacks, full bathroom toiletry and a big room. we only stayed for 1 night and loved their hospitality. room is clean, spacious, well lit. great value for money!!!
