The bathroom was very small and hard to use the toilet if I were a bigger size I would not have been able to use it. The room was functional for 1 person. Spotted a few roaches and that was definitely a turnoff for me.

It was a clean room, but I paid for an executive suite, but I ended up having a standard room. The refrigerator in the room did not work, so when I went out to buy drinks they never got cold. All the staff were very friendly.

The rooms vary, first had a room on the fifth floor overlooking a hill, then got placed in a room with a better view but with no outlets and finally a very helpful gentleman in the front desk placed me where I stayed for the remaining of the stay. The rooms are a bit old and there were some water leaks in the restaurant. Breakfast is decent and had the pleasure of being served by Darling Patricia and Nathanael which were excellent and very attentive. The location is very convenient as everything is really close by. It’s not a guest-friendly hotel and it definitely does not have a pool like it’s advertised.

Located in the Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo, this hotel puts you within walking distance of a wide variety of restaurants, museums, and historic landmarks. The property offers modern facilities that contrast nicely with the charm and character of the surrounding historic area. It’s an affordable option for a comfortable stay in the city. Just keep in mind this is a downtown-style hotel, don’t expect a beachfront setting or resort atmosphere.
