Worst hotel in Santo Domingo. Had been willing to give them a chance as they had VIP access but like everyone else said it’s all day. They have insane security that requests ID every time you want to go to your room. Wanted me to pay $45 more to have my husband visit my room. I only booked the place as it’s 5 minutes from my husband’s family’s house and he gets up for work at 5am so didn’t want to disturb me. Room was dirty and many things were moldy and wood was rotting in the bathroom. Annoys me as they charge more than hotels in the US or Europe which are in better condition. Stay away!

This Hotel is like a police state where guests are being watched 24/7 like a bunch of children. The hotel makes sure that it shapes guests' behavior to its liking by placing guards everywhere to watch over guests. The hotel reprimands even the slightest misbehavior. It is a very intimidating environment, to say the least. Visitors can only see the hotel's guests at the lobby. If a hotel's guest wants to speak with a family member in privacy, 54 American dollars are required to go to the rooms. That is for each guest, regardless if they are sleeping over or not. Much improvement is needed in the way this hotel treats its guests.
