Cute Southern home

This home is so cute & the screened-in porch is a huge bonus. When coming in sandy it's a great place to clean up before coming inside. The bedrooms with doors to the porch are a nice feature as well. Will definitely want golf carts or bikes while staying at this house. It's a decent walk to any restaurant or beach.

Awesome but unsettling

Stay was overall very good but we were startled that either the owner or another guest was staying in the room above the house. It’s their house but it was weird ( scary for all female guests) to hear someone walking above us when we were unaware that it would be happening.

Roomy, comfortable house in a lovely neighborhood

Loved this house- it was so comfortable. Felt like walking into a home versus a rental and it was a great amount of space for the price. Some reviews complained of the bathrooms and kitchen being dated but it didn't bother us because everything was immaculately clean. Nice neighborhood, good for walks/runs, with two beautiful pools and an easy walk to the beach. 5 minute drive to seaside and Publix. Would definitely stay here again when we make our yearly trip to 30a.

Wonderful stay

Property had everything we needed for a very enjoyable vacation! Clean and roomy. Short walk to beach and close to everything. Lovely neighborhood - sidewalks are shaded all times of day (good for walking dogs with dark coats, who get hot!). Bring or rent bikes - shown in photo, but not included. Would love to come back!

The location and neighborhood were great. We loved sitting on the screened in porch. Beach was close by. Beach chairs, beach cart, and bikes were provided. Kitchen had everything needed to cook. Property could use some updating in kitchen and bath. The bed we slept in was comfortable.

Nice older neighborhood not to far to walk to beach

Unhappy with unable to use kitchen sink first four days. Water leak under sink required a plumber and garbage disposal broken required two electricians which meant we had to eat out and stay home to wait for them and while they were working. I feel I should be compensated somehow

Great location - home needs some updates

The location was really nice. However, furniture was in so/so shape. Light bulbs all mismatched, dated fixtures, paint and floors were not too good either. Also, bed and bedding is terrible. Location makes up for all of the negative things but if you’re expecting high end, this isn’t it and keep looking. Owner needs to make some improvements and TLC. If you want something middle of the road you’ve found it.

Property is 1/3 of a mile from beach NOT “steps from beach”. Age/mobility issues. Golf carts $1k

There is no parking near beach. All mattresses are very uncomfortable. I have basic mattresses from SAMS at home that are much better. The living room furniture is worn out and also uncomfortable. Light under carport does not work. There is NOT room for 2 cars under carport. Very disappointed for the price. Will not stay again.

Christmas at the Beach

We absolutely love this house! It was beautiful, feels very secluded even though it is close to everything. We were able to walk to almost everything we needed. We appreciated the use of the beach wagon and boogie boards! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, perfect for evening strolls. We especially loved the screened in porch, we ate out there regularly. The kids loved it as well. We will definitely be back!

Not at all what we had hoped for

We booked this property for October 4-9 and flew in from Texas to vacation. The property at first glance was nice, but when we got there, things turned out very differently. There were very small televisions in only 2 bedrooms. They did not work at all. I called and put in a request to have them fixed, but noone came. The washing machine would not work properly but on one setting (hot). I put a repair ticket in for that also. They sent a "handyman" out that didn't know anything about washing machines. The property with this is that there were only 6 towels and 5 people. Not good. There were minimal amenities in the kitchen such as towels and potholders. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The pillows and bedding was not what was pictured and much to be desired for what we paid for the week. We contacted the property manager 3 different times, but in the end they just gave us a small refund for compensation. We won't be renting this property again.
