Welcome to Blue Me Away, our luxurious beach house! Blue Me Away is named after the sensation we strive for you to experience during your stay. The beautiful blue waters of Blue Mountain Beach allow you to get away from all the stress that everyday life might create. We would love to have you come stay with us.

Our home is in a private gated community, The Villages at Blue Mountain Beach, right off the scenic 30A corridor. 30A is a highly sought after stretch of highway along Florida’s coast between Destin and Panama City. Each village along 30A has its own unique characteristics that offer a magical portrait along some of the country’s most beautiful beaches. The pristine sugar white sand of Blue Mountain Beach on the Emerald Coast is one of the least crowded public access beaches on 30A. Any kind of fun in the sun you might imagine can be enjoyed within a short distance of our home. Amazing food, shopping, entertainment and concert life ALL along 30A. While you are visiting you can enjoy all the perks of beach life, fishing (fresh water or salt water), walking, hiking, bike trails, surfing, kayaking, visit the State Park and the list goes on…You won’t regret it!

We are a short walk, bike or golf cart ride from the Blue Mountain Beach entrance which conveniently offers public restrooms. We are located .6 miles from a variety of public beach accesses. We are 2 miles from neighboring communities like Seaside and Watercolor and the outlet mall is only a 15-minute drive!

Our property is located on a corner lot within our gated community. The village is well known for its charm, quiet atmosphere, beautiful sidewalks perfect for outdoor play, bike rides or relaxing walks and well-maintained amenities. We are conveniently located across the street from the gated pool and fitness center, also equipped with cornhole and shuffleboard.

Our individualized keyless check-in process allows you the ability to begin your vacation from the moment you arrive.

Blue Me Away is a 3-story luxurious open concept home with high ceilings, travertine and hardwood floors sleeps a maximum of 8 adults. Complete with 5 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, 2 half bathrooms, game room and office.

Main Living Area - Bottom floor: Offers a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, top of the line appliances, and granite countertops. The chef in your family will enjoy their cooking experience here. Once meals are served seating will be no issue with 4 bar stool seats and an oversized dining table for 8. The living room boasts a large flat screen tv and an oversized couch for relaxation while watching TV, movies or enjoying the game. An oversized powder bath is also located on the bottom floor along with a laundry room and large utility sink.

2nd Floor: Contains a master suite complete with a king bed, huge en suite bathroom and master closet, a queen bedroom with full bathroom and balcony for breathtaking sunset views, a full over full bunk bedroom with full bathroom and an office space.

3rd floor: Complete with a master suite king bed, large en suite bathroom with master closet, balcony, twin bunk room with 2 sets of built-in bunk beds (4 beds total), a game room with foosball table stocked with games for your enjoyment during your stay, a fold down couch, a half bathroom and reading area.

Outdoor space: Complete with 2 parking spaces an outdoor shower, patio dining and gas grill.

For your protection and ours RING cameras are install at all main level external points of entry.

Good deal on a good house

We think how much you like this house may depend on the other beach homes and other 30A areas you’ve stayed in. This year, the most important factor for our group was the cost & this house was a great deal! Here are the ups & downs from our experience:*One of the best things about the house - excellent A/C! *There are lots of steps inside which wasn’t an issue for us, but could be for older adults/little kids. *Furniture/Decor: If you’re used to a memory foam bed where you can’t feel the other person rolling over, you might have issues here but the beds were comfortable enough to where we slept fine. Other furniture & decor is a bit sparse & could use a refresh (stained carpet, handles missing, drawers wouldn’t close all the way, etc.) but again, for the price we weren't expecting luxury here. The bunkroom really wasn't ideal for older teens who enjoyed staying up late but were right across the hall from adults who go to bed early. A door on the bunkroom would have been nice (they did love the sofa/games/tv!). *The golf cart is small, older & not very powerful but was a fun perk & we used it a lot because for us, the beach wasn’t an easy walk away. *Being able to easily walk/bike to an ice cream & coffee shop was great for those too young to drive*The extra parking lot (for more than 2 cars) was very nice!*Quick pool access *Lindsey was a great communicator.*All in all, we enjoyed a comfortable, safe & fun time together in Blew Me Away and didn’t break the bank!

Perfect for a multigenerational stay!

Love, love, loved Blue Me Away! Our ages raged from 2-77. We loved every minute of our stay. The location is convenient to everything. I have never rented from a more responsive host! Every question or need was resolved within minutes.

Lovely

Me and my family had an amazing time at this home. It was warm and inviting and was in a convenient location to some of our favorite restaurants. We enjoyed being able to walk/ride the golf cart to ice cream and morning coffee and it was just a short ride to the public beach access. Lindsey was great! Super responsive and helpful and was there when we needed her. Would recommend this home to anyone looking for a charming peaceful place to stay.

Family time

We have family all over the country, we were able to meet at this beautiful house for a family vacation. The house was stunning, plenty big for a huge family. We were just a few minutes from the beautiful Blue Mountain Beach. The golf cart was perfect for the little ones to get to the beach. It is close to many restaurants and shops. The private neighborhood was quiet and had a great pool. We will definitely be coming back. The owner obviously takes pride in making sure her guests feel at home. There was a problem with the air conditioner that we didn’t even realize and she called to let us know it was immediately being taken care of. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Amazing Week at the Beach

We were here with two young couples, three kids under 7, a teen and a set of grandparents. It was two of the kiddos first trip to the beach and it was just about perfect! The golf cart makes it so easy to come and go down to the beach. Lindsey keeps a great stock of beach toys/activities, chairs and even an umbrella in the garage. The kitchen was well stocked for any kind of cooking and even had some Tupperware for leftovers. Lindsey was incredibly responsive and kind with all of our interactions. No real complaints at all, just a couple of “good-to-knows” for other travelers. The bunk room doesn’t have doors that shut so it stays decently bright in there late into the evening. Shampoo, conditioner and soap are not provided, which is fine since I bring my own but some people typically use what’s provider. Last, there were no spices at all in the house. We left some salt and pepper that we bought, but not sure if that gets thrown out between guests or not. Overall, we were super pleased and would absolutely stay here again!

Family Vacation

We really loved the place. It was very nice and clean. The owner was very friendly. The only take away is the advertisement was for 14 people but a week before we arrived we were told because of the HOA only 10 people were allowed to be there at anytime if more than fine the owner. So this meant my family could not come over. It was to late to cancel so we made due with it.

Great property and central to other 30A towns

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property! Very nice finishes, comfortable and great for teenagers or multiple families to stay. Definitely get your exercise with the 3 floors but totally worth it. Lots of games and beach toys available. Golf cart was great to take down to the beach. Would definitely stay here again! Property Manager was very responsive and a pleasure to work with!

We love Blue Mountain Beach! Too far to walk to from this house but glad we had the golf cart! I booked the house 10 months in advance for 2 weeks and the owner was nice enough to refund a small amount when we changed the stay to 8 days. Unfortunately, the day rate was increased by $100 when we did that so we ended up paying about the same for 8 days as we would have for 14. The pool was only a few steps away and I loved the scripture prints all over the house, very peaceful atmosphere! Kitchen was well equipped, water filter on frig needed replacing, lots of burned out light bulbs throughout inside and outside of the house. Lots of stairs. There were multiple stains on the furniture and carpets, jacuzzi in one bath didn’t work, air return vents were very dirty, not sure how long it had been since the filters were changed, but the bathrooms and house were clean. Be prepared to sign a 10 page rental agreement about your liability for any damages plus a 2 page golf cart waiver and copy of your DL. That was a first for me!

Great family vacation!

Beautiful and very spacious house. Short ride to the beach and lots of beach chairs and toys at the house. Leah was quick to respond to my questions. A few things to know: lots of stairs. Beautiful high ceilings mean more stairs. Obviously, nothing the owners can do, just good to know if someone in your group can't do stairs. The kitchen is very well stocked. The closest beach access is Very crowded, but if you drive down a little way, much less people. We highly recommend eating at Blue Mabel!

Bright and airy

We had a wonderful family holiday at Blue Me Away. The house is nice and bright and the high ceilings make it feel even more spacious. It was also surprisingly quiet, so when the early risers were up and around it didn’t disturb the night owls, and vice-versa at night. It is about a half-mile walk to the beach, with sidewalk the whole way. The golf cart was very handy to bring the provided beach chairs and umbrellas. My only real quibble that I would have liked to know ahead of time was that the third floor bunk room isn’t really a bedroom- it’s more of an alcove to the game room, and neither the game room nor the bunk area has a door so the two tweens were basically sleeping in the open. There’s only one other bedroom up there so not like there was traffic all the time but the 12-year old was a bit put out. Lindsey was great to deal with and very responsive to questions. Thanks for a lovely week at the beach!
