The stay itself was good, but when it came to checking in they say come back in 30 minutes I return 45 minutes later and they say it’s going to be another 30 minutes.

The electronic keys didn't work so we had to have security let us into our room every time. They got the keys fixed, then they broke again. I called the front desk and security came out and the guy was rude, when I asked if this was going to continue to be a problem, he didn't even get off his phone, he turned and walked away from me. The pictures on the website are deceiving. The rooms are very small. They need updating...which can be done and stay "historic". The people working in the restaurant were very nice.

Horrible experience at this hotel. When we checked in the guy was rude. I went to complain that someone was running in the hallway and knocking on the door. He was rude and said he couldn’t do anything about and maybe we should stay at a different hotel. I will never stay here again.

We enjoyed the historic nature of the entire hotel, from the extra roomy guest room to the antique decor throughout. The staff was extra-friendly and helpful. As the hotel sits on a busy street, there a fair amount of traffic noise during the day, but it all ended after 8 pm and was very quiet through the night. Food in the area was good - we didn’t try the hotel restaurant but definitely would on another stay. Big thumbs-up for a stopover or multi-night stay!
