Our stay was perfect, very happy with our choice. Nice sized 3-bed house. The private pool made the difference. Communication with the property owner was excellent, who reached out well in advance to help us plan and was very accommodating. Location was good too, a few mins walk from the centre of Es Cáñar and a few mins drive to the main road to the airport and the other spots. Parking in front of house. Would highly recommend this property.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful 12-day stay at this lovely villa in Es Canar, and it really was the perfect base for our family holiday. The location is fantastic – just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, with plenty of great restaurants nearby. Cala Martina quickly became our favourite spot – a more boho-style beach with a laid-back vibe and relaxed restaurants right on the sand.Susanna, our host, was absolutely superb. She couldn’t have been more helpful, especially during our first few days when we had a few little requests while settling in. She was always quick to respond and made us feel really looked after.The villa itself is comfortable and well-equipped. There are two good-sized double rooms with excellent air conditioning, plus a smaller twin room. The twin does get a bit warmer than the others, but with the fan provided, our youngest slept there without any trouble. The kitchen has everything you need for simple holiday cooking, with a gas stove, fridge, and coffee-making facilities.One of the highlights was the gorgeous pool area at the back. It’s linked to the hotel pool next door but separated by a wall and screen so you still have privacy. We spent many happy afternoons there cooling off and relaxing.A quick note for drivers – the villa sits just off the main road into Es Canar, opposite a private car park with a barrier. There’s a designated parking spot right outside the villa, which is very handy, although look out for the odd 'cheeky parker'.

Host Susana 's communication was excellent. Property was spacious - 2 outside shaded seating areas, plus poolside and inside lounge/dining and kitchen/dining areas with homely decor. AC in 2 main bedrooms and lounge, fan in small bedroom. 2 bathrooms. Nice big pool 10m x 4m, note that it is 1.7m deep throughout. Parking available. Good location, within 10mins walk of centre of Es Canar, plenty of shops and restaurants and good beaches. 35 mins from airport.

A great place to spend a week

The property is a good size 3 bedroom house with air conditioning and pool. It’s 5 minutes walk to the main beach, ferry and hippy market. We just relaxed at the beach and travelled to some of the nearby towns for lunch. The weather was perfect.

Spacious house for family of six

We really appreciated having so much space indoors and outside for our group of four adults and two children. The house is well located on a quiet street on the edge of Es Canar, close to the Hippy Market. There is ample parking space for two cars at the entrance to the property. Susana was very responsive and helpful. We really appreciated the toys she provided for the children. As our visit was in August it would have been better to have air conditioning in the two bedrooms which only have fans. It would also be helpful to have access to Wi-Fi in all rooms.

12 night stay 13th -24th Aug 2022

Due to Covid we had had to cancel our stay last year at the villa and we had not been abroad since summer 2019. Susana was very reasonable and fair about us having to cancel and re book for 2022. This was also the first time we had moved away from a package type holiday and booked a villa with separate flights and car hire, so the holiday was a new experience altogether for us. The villa is in an excellent location for two beaches and the town with restaurants and shops all very close by. There are two good beaches within 5 mins walk in either direction. It is also only a short walk to the famous Hippy Market every Wednesday. Susana the host was excellent with her communication and attendance if we had any issues. Any problems during our stay were resolved quickly by Susana. Susana was also very flexible with allowing us to book 12 nights for our stay, which is often difficult to find with many other villas that only offer either 7 or 14 night stays. Thank you to Susana for allowing us that duration of stay. The pool is an excellent size and private. It is located directly next to another pool belonging to a neighbouring hostel. Whilst you are aware of other people in the neighbouring pool, you are not directly overlooked and there is a dividing wall separating both pools. We had no problems with noise issues from the neighbouring hostel during our stay and the guests were generally very respectful of guests staying in the villa. The garden areas are generous and nicely landscaped and the property is secure behind iron gates. The addition of a table tennis or pool table in the garden would also be considered a nice additional touch for future stays. The pool area whilst large and as a result is a big selling feature of the villa, could benefit from some additional external lighting so that the pool could be more readily used in the evenings. While the main bedroom and lounge have air conditioning, installing additional air conditioning in the other two bedrooms would also be very beneficial. Communication with Susana from the Uk before we went was also excellent and reassuring. Taking all into account, including the location of the villa, car parking provision and overall value for money, which is also a very attractive and reasonable price, we very much enjoyed our stay and we would definitely recommend this villa to others. We would also consider rebooking the villa again should we return to Ibiza in the future.

Fabulous villa in Es Canar

We had a wonderful week in Susana's house. The house is in Es Canar but on the edge so if a resort is not your thing, you can go the other direction walking and eat at some more local vibe bars. 8 minutes walk from Cala Martina beach restaurant and it's a few minutes more along the beach for a totally different high-end Ibiza vibe at Nikki Beach bar. Go the other direction from the house and it's about a 20 min walk to Cala Nova Beach which has various bars and restaurants with different vibes. If you've a car, you're a short drive from many beautiful beaches in the north of the island. The house was super easy to find, 30-35 mins drive from the airport. Very comfortable for our family of 5. Two good bathrooms. Pool is fab. There is a hostal pool next door which would make the pool a little less private if busy but it was closed when we were at the house. Small and expensive supermarket across the road, a good size Eroski a few mins drive away and you don't even have to go into Santa Eularia to get there so a bonus. We had a brief issue with the fuse box and the water, excellent communication from Susana and sorted quickly. There are bikes at the house and also lots of stuff for the beach which was very convenient. All good value house with loads of pluses. Can't think of any negatives!

Great villa and a great location

Susana was extremely helpful from start to finish, especially given the uncertainty of the coronavirus lockdown. We were so pleased that our holiday could go ahead - the villa was spotlessly clean, and very homely. The pool was great and our girls (4 and 7) especially loved it. The location of the villa was excellent too, in a nice quiet area, but easy walking distance to beaches, restaurants, bakery, shops, etc. and with parking right outside. I agree with the previous comment that air conditioning in all of the bedrooms would have made it a little more comfortable, but this wasn't a big concern for us. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely like to return again.

Lovely house in a great location

The property is great. The outside space is fantastic, with multiple areas to eat and relax and a lovely pool with plenty of loungers to relax on. The location is fantastic, it is 1 minute walk to a lovely little bar/restaurant and a little convenience store and a few minutes walk to many more, The boat to Ibiza Town, Formentera and Santa Eulalia runs from a stop less than 5 mins walk, despite it's close proimity to all these amenities it is quiet and secluded. The only thing I would change is to have air con in all the bedrooms, it is in 1 bedroom and the lounge, however we were there in the height of summer and being English we found it a little too hot in the evening/nights. Susana was a fantastic host with plenty of info ahead of the trip and very helpful during our stay. I would definitely recommend this property.

Amazing holiday!

Excellent location, close to bars , restaurants, shops and beaches. Es Canar is a lovely resort, would definitely stay again. We stayed in the villa for a week during the first week of July, weather was hot and sunny. It was a family holiday for our wedding anniversary celebration, there were six of us including myself, my husband, two daughters and their partners. Absolutely loved the swimming pool and outside area, plenty of space. We had two lovely barbecues whilst we were there. Property clean and spacious inside. Susanna was very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic place!!

The accommodation is fantastic-loads of room, loads of places to sit inside and out and really nicely decorated. Air con in main bedroom and lounge and fans in the other rooms. Pool was a good size and kept clean. Location was 5 min walk from hippy market and 5 mins in the other direction to the central beach with bars and restaurants en route. There is a lay-by outside the house for parking a car if you rent one. Susana was attentive and helpful. Highly recommend

Perfect holiday

Hi, we stayed for two weeks and had the perfect holiday. The house is lovely and the pool in a quiet area so we had privacy. We had a chose of two beaches, one that had lots of bars and restaurants. The other Cala Martina is very quiet and beautiful, we went to the quiet beach and Se Trenka restaurant we loved it. We went to the Hippy market on the Wednesday and bought some lovely clothes and gifts. Thank you Susana for making us feel so welcome.

Fabulous villa. Susana was lovely and had everything from beach umbrellas to a record player. Garden is beautiful and huge and has a BBQ the pool is fab. Very spacious outside and inside. Located in the perfect area for everything. Couldn't be happier with it and wish we can come back!
