Rooms are very neat and clean. They have hot water and tea or coffee 24/7. I loved their breakfast and I noticed that the hotel really cared about keeping guests satisfied and well-fed during breakfast — they made sure to refill the food containers even before they were empty.

The experience staying at your hotel was great (staff friendly & room clean) except for the homeless man that was allowed to hang around the inside breakfast area and was told nothing even when the staff knew he was there.

It is an okay Hotel for your money!

We stayed at this hotel with family for a friends wedding. It wasn't too bad but one thing I didn't like is our blinds did not close and our window was right next to the pool. Another thing was the bathroom had black mold all in the shower and cocking in spots missing. The front desk staff was very friendly. Parking really sucks and is so incredibly tight that your vehicles sit on the lines.

This is my favorite hotel in Santa Cruz and I always stay here whenever I visit my daughter in UCSC. The staff here is always friendly, accommodating and makes me feel welcome. The bed was so comfortable that we didn’t want to get up. When you look up the location of the hotel on a map you might worry that it is right on the main road, but it is actually very quiet in the rooms.

Great experience. The place was well maintained, the staff was friendly, easy access to the freeways, and not too far from the Boardwalk. The only downside is the parking garage when you arrive late and have a larger vehicle.

Great hotel with some temporary staffing issues

We spent three nights there.. The AC was not working for the first two nights but they did get it fixed by the third night they didn't have enough maids to do the room for the first night and then they hired some but they just need to be trained a little more. This may sound bad but Melissa on the front desk was the most customer friendly person I've ever met in my 70 plus years. She handled all the heat with Grace and a smile on her face and made you feel great just to see her everyday. She got most of the problem handled and I believe she'll get it all done In short order a lot of this had to do with a shortage of maids and the confusion of changing all the locks in the whole hotel while we were there. Breakfast was fantastic the people were great and with a few minor adjustments this will be a five-star hotel again
