Black Forest hotel stay

Nice place to stay in the Black Forest region. Clean comfortable room. Check in was a small challenge due to language barrier, but quickly done. Restaurant food and service was great. There is no elevator to second floor in one building, so be prepared to carry your luggage up the set of stairs. The St Margen cloister museum nearby is a must see for any clock enthusiasts.

Relaxing in Sankt Margen

Lovely hotel with a family feeling and ideal for hiking lovers!!! This place is ideal for a phone, social media rehab as the surroundings are mesmerising . Quiet town where you can get really bored but very pleased in the same time. Staff very attentive and helpful when needed.

Family Friendly Upscale Hideaway

We stayed in a large family room which was perfect for the two of us and our two children (3yo and 8mo). A portable crib was provided and the couch can be used as a twin or bunk beds. The dinner was DELICIOUS and they were more than understanding of our louder table with children. The breakfast was also great. Our wing definitely had multiple children but you couldnā€™t hear anything. Also loved the Scandinavian vibe of hotel.

Hotel mit Charme und Optimierungspotential

Die Kombination von Hotel, Sauna und Restaurant sowie lƤndliche Lage waren fĆ¼r uns das Motiv zur Ɯbernachtung im Hotel. Hotelambiente sehr positiv, z.B. wurden platzierte Kerzen etc. auch tatsƤchlich angezĆ¼ndet und nicht nur dekorativ platziert. Gelungene Beleuchtung und Gestaltung der RƤumlichkeiten. Vermisst haben wir im Zimmer eine komfortable Sitzgelegenheit fĆ¼r zwei Personen. Die Saunaƶffnungszeiten erschien uns mit 2 Stunden sportlich knapp fĆ¼r die Wintersaison. Zudem war die RƤumlichkeit der Sauna zu kĆ¼hl bzw. fehlten dort zumindest Zusatzdecken fĆ¼r die Liegen. SaunatĆ¼cher dĆ¼rften grĆ¶ĆŸer ausfallen. Die GaststƤtte war sehr einladend, die Gerichte sehr ansprechend und GetrƤnkeauswahl sehr umfangreich. (Leider waren unsere gewƤhlten Speisen zu salzig geraten aber noch verzehrfƤhig aber der GenuƟ blieb leider aus. Der Salat war ebenso etwas zu Essig-lastig, jedoch auch essbar, jedoch wƤren hier das Abschmecken nach erfolgter Zubereitung vor dem Servieren wĆ¼nschenswert.

Fantastique ! It was 2 very pleasant nights. Rooms are clean, sober and modern. The bathroom needs to refresh but it's ok. Services are very good and sauna šŸ˜ Sleep with open windows can be noisy...

HĆ“tel sympathique. Plein de superbes randonnĆ©es au dĆ©part de l'hĆ“tel. Petit dĆ©j buffet super copieux. Le restau est bon mais un peu cher et le service est alĆ©atoire (une fois bien, une fois trĆØs long). Le village est beau, avec une supĆ©rette, une station service et plusieurs restaurants.
