The apartment was in a fantastic location, just two blocks from the beach and within easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. The apartment was completely bare-bones and not at all set up for hosting guests. There was no hand soap, no dish soap, and only half a roll of toilet paper provided. After a long and stressful travel day, the last thing we wanted to do was head out to a store just to buy basic essentials that should have been included.The bed was extremely uncomfortable, we actually ended up sleeping on the futon in the living room, which was more comfortable than the actual bed. To make matters worse, the host even tried to charge us 20 for using the blankets, which felt unreasonable and unwelcoming. For 140 per night, I was expecting much better. At a minimum, some basic toiletries, a comfortable bed, and thoughtful touches to make the apartment feel hospitable. Instead, it felt cold and impersonal.Overall, while the location was excellent, the lack of essentials, uncomfortable sleeping arrangements, and the extra charges made the stay disappointing and poor value for money. With just a bit more care and effort from the host, this could be a wonderful place, but as it stands I would not choose to stay here again.
