Had an amazing time in El Salvador! 🌴 We stayed at The Reef on the Water and the staff was wonderful — very attentive and quick with food and drinks. The only downside is that you can’t bring any outside food or drinks to your room, and since the bar closes at 9pm it can be a little inconvenient. Other than that, everything was perfect and I’d definitely go back!

The Hotel is small, but pretty tidy. The room size was a bit smaller than expected. But the hotel is nice. The staff is really nice and helpful. I liked the pool and they have a nice food menu. The Bar staff was excellent and they make good drinks. Prices are also affordable. The breakfast was good and they have good fokd choices. I would definitely stay there again.

The pool directly next to water is so amazing. Beautiful views! We loved ordering food & drinks to our room and eating with the view of the ocean. Food and drinks were decent. The room quality was very low, showers always cold, broken toilet seat.

A wondefrul ocean front property. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Beatiful ocean view at reasonable price locayed a short walk from El Tunco. I love that is is not trying to be overly modern and fancy and feels like real surf stay.

The poolside area is nice. I enjoyed that. However the road entrance to the hotel is not pavemented. Rough road to drive. The staff at the front desk when we checked in was not welcoming. We were told “No Outside food or drinks”. Breakfast is one option. We ordered coffee and wanted milk with our coffee and we’re told there is an extra fee 😳😧😧 What?? Not walking distance within El Tunco. You need a car from this hotel.

Not clean, outdated, staff not friendly or attentive. Location is barely accessible, uber drivers turn down due to road being horrible. You need big truck to access road. No outside food deliveries permitted, so if you get hungry past 7:30 pm you are out of luck and must leave to go get food. Only one bar and it closes at 8 pm. Private beach but not accessible to humans only pretty to look at. Same breakfast every morning, beans, eggs, banana and bread. No other options. No outside food or drinks allowed. Two towel limit per room. It rained hard, leaked into our room and our floors were very wet and slippery. You are basically on your own at this hotel with hardly any service.
