What a lovely little space - it looks just like the photos! It is so convenient to essentials and the university campus. It's a college town neighborhood with a great workspace and room for a group of 5 comfortably.

Sketchy Neighborhood

When we pulled up to this house we were shocked. In a very sketchy neighborhood, back door about 100' from a train track, front yard grass about a foot tall. The interior didn't look like the pictures, beds are practically on the floor. We did not feel comfortable staying there at all. Wound up leaving and staying somewhere else, cost us a fortune since we couldn't cancel in advance.

This property should not be listed on VRBO. Our host prior to arrival very accommodating, we booked at 1030 pm night before arrival. Didn’t see a lot of details until after booked including 2 doors in front of a so called triplex and we should go to the green door, park on L of door which we pulled up in driveway to L which was somebody else’s drive apparently so pulled in front of home and we’re so confused to what was happening, other cars in driveway on R apparently that live in room connected to home we were renting, went in home, was clean, but out back area has a divider fence between third person and patio, grass tall backyard, felt like we were invading third space which is another room attached to house we were staying in. Sketch neighborhood. Triplex to me means own space, separate parking, 3 separate apartment like facilities, but Not a room connected to both sides of home you are staying in, confusion to which door/entrance etc is yours, did not feel safe or private with 2 woman and 2-9th grade boys did not feel a safe environment. Contacted host Sarah,she said not refunding, was clear on listing, expressed our concerns again & rooms attached to both sides of home & that we could not stay here, safety concern, NO IDEA other people on back side of both walls, no privacy. Exited home asap. Called VRBO since no resolution, who called host to resolve this, was hung up on 2x per provider, refund requested and despite no cleaning needed, no refund given. Felt punked
