I did not have a good experience at the Fairmont. The customer service was subpar. My first encounter with customer service was at check in, I had up graded my room to a room with a patio. Well needless to say the room was on the third floor and did not have a patio but it did have a brick wall and concrete bench. We went back to the front desk and requested to be put back in a regular room which they did. Now when we got the new room we were tired and went to sleep. The next day when we got up we realized that the bathroom sink did not have any hot water. So on our way to breakfast we let the front desk know. Maintenance came to the room and determined that the faucet didn't work and it needed replacement. We then got a call from the front desk asking us to leave the room so that the repair can be made. I told her absolutely not after I also informed her that the bathroom had not been cleaned properly before we got in the room. Also we were told that we had two free drinks at the bar. Well when it was time to check out they was still charging us for a room up grade and for the two drinks. lets just say I will not be staying at the Fairmount anytime soon.
