Disappointing Experience at Fairmont El San Juan

I recently stayed at Fairmont El San Juan and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. While the hotel boasts luxury and elegance, there were significant shortcomings that marred my stay.
First and foremost, the pricing for the buffet-style breakfast was exorbitant. At $86.26, I expected a lavish spread of delectable options. However, the reality fell short of expectations. The quality and variety of the food simply did not justify the steep price tag. It's disheartening to feel like you're being taken advantage of as a guest.
Additionally, the experience with the security guard was frustrating and off-putting. Despite providing my room number, I was repeatedly harassed for it throughout my stay. This lack of organization and communication reflects poorly on the hotel's management. Guests should not feel like they are under scrutiny every time they enter or exit the premises.
Moreover, the issue speaks to a larger problem with the hotel's service. There seems to be a lack of coordination in ensuring that staff members are aware of who the guests are. This oversight detracts from the overall guest experience and leaves patrons feeling undervalued.
In conclusion, my stay at Fairmont El San Juan fell short of expectations. While the hotel boasts grandeur and sophistication, the inflated prices and subpar service left me feeling disappointed. For the amount I paid, I expected a much higher services
