The staff did not provide much information about the grounds and where restaurants and amenities where during check in. I saw trash everywhere around the pool and found it hard to spot a trash can, perhaps that’s why. Food and drinks were exuberantly high with not much quality to what you got for your money.

This is a wonderful property with incredible amenities. The service is not up to the level of the property. Some small changes would make a big difference such as teaching the staff to smile and be genuinely welcoming and to upgrade the level of English. The steakhouse food is extraordinary however it has a discotheque mentality and it is hard to conduct business dinners with the high volume of the music. Cleanliness is extraordinary. A great place to stay but the staff needs some training and upgrading.

The staff were friendly, and the lobby was nice, with a bar, an attached casino, and a pleasant pool area. However, the room itself was disappointing. When we checked in, we walked in to find the toilet tank lid removed and water spilled all over the bathroom floor. The room wasn’t very clean overall — we found a bag with empty beer cans behind a chair. The toilet remained broken and leaking throughout our stay, and although maintenance came, they said they didn’t have the part needed to fix it. We also received stained towels on more than one occasion. Overall, the rooms look dated and could really use better lighting and better upkeep.

The room we had booked was a standard 2 queen room and we expected a basic view. I was allocated a complete no view room (we were facing pipes and rooftop). Very poor staff etiquette at the check in and I was quite sure that I was being racially profiled here.

Staff was very courteous and professional. The on site restaurants didn’t give you a true taste of Puerto Rico although advertised as such. I paid $70 for a shot on the beach, one shot cost $70.
