I stayed at this hotel due to the proximity to the airport. Staff were friendly, I requested a taxi as I had an early flight in the morning and when I got to the lobby there was no taxi. The front desk called one and I was 30 mins late checking in at the airport. The pool was quite dirty and murky, and I saw a massive cockroach in my hotel room. The hotel is quite large as well, I imagine the upkeep is a challenge. The Japanese restaurant closed down, and the other 2 restaurants were short staffed so there was a long wait to order. I would look into a boutique hotel next time.

Difficult to rate this place. The staff is great - Professional, courteous, helpful, etc. But there are just a lot of little things that don't get attention. And the resort is a little tired. But on the other hand - it has a lot of amenities and the price is reasonable. Location is central. My suite was huge and awesome. So I like it, but wouldn't put someone there that has high expectations. Awesome gym for a hotel. But was very disappointed when I tried to workout on Saturday and found out they close it at 4:00. Pretty ridiculous.

First room, a jr suite, smelled like dead mice in the a/c duct. Switched to a master suite for day two. Carpets and furniture are old and stained. Lobby has been all refreshed but that is just a facade. Non HD non smart TV’s. Poor Wi-Fi for business use. Pool was not cleaned during our stay. Full of tree debris. The pool doesn’t look like it had been painted in years. Only a dozen lounge chairs for all the pools combined. When chlorine was added, it was mid day while guests were in the pool, exposed to the chlorine dust. Staff barely around the pool bar for service. The Japanese restaurant is permanently closed. Breakfast buffet serves cold food and warm milk. Just four options for “hot” items. On-site restaurant’s food was mediocre at best. Many better restaurants within walking distance. Stairwells that are black with mold. Paint peeling everywhere. Flooring falling apart in the elevators. Three day rotation to clean / sanitize the elevators. Roof is falling apart with visible water damage inside. Very poorly maintained. Splurge $20-30 and book next door for the Hilton it is twice the hotel. Don’t believe the 5* reviews. The Wyndham is 3* at best.

Reasonable place to stay. The shuttle service to the airport was helpful. The hotel is quiet and the beds comfortable. Cleanliness could be improved but this might be due to the fact that we were in the older part of the hotel.
