Almond (Almond) is a very nice apartment, within the "Agriturismo" of the XVIIth century, a sort of "small village" built on the top of the hill, called " Montegonfoli ". For this reason we have the best views at 360 °. Almond tree takes its name from the "Almond" tree that lives in the terrace of the apartment. Its flowers make it magic.
The Montegonfoli Farmhouse is featured by a huge garden, we have about 1000 olive trees, 2. 6ha of vineyard (Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Chianti Colli Senesi, both DOCG), 5ha of "fields of gold" and 9ha of amazing forest featured by a small river for "in house" nice excursions and light trekking activities. The town of San Gimignano is very close, and Siena and Florence can be reached very quickly, as well as the other attractions of Tuscany. Rome city center (Saint Peter church) is 2.5h from Montegonfoli. This apartment, Almond tree, was totally refit in the 2015 and all the furnitures are new. It is on the ground floor, no steps to access it, no steps inside. It has two double bedrooms, one large bed and one twin bedroom, one large bathroom with shower and bidet. On the back of the house there is a wonderful garden with amazing view on San Gimignano Hills, forests, vineyards and distant hills and towns. In the terrace there is a big umbrella and a table. This apartment is suited to host up to 4 people; in the double room, a baby bed can be added without additional fees.
Almond tree shares with the other garden, olive trees, a private forest with a small river, and other amenities, i. is. a large 13x6m swimming pool with amazing view on San Gimignano, a barbecue area, and a large free parking lot. The access to the garden is free and allows in-house make-up nice excursions and light trekking activities.
