The location is the reason I stayed there. It’s a great location. The room was clean. Unfortunately, the gym isn’t satisfactory. The machine wasn’t working properly and it didn’t feel clean. There was an issue all 3 mornings with the coffee including broken machines or dirty pot or no pods. You really have to include parking because there’s a lot of construction going on nearby and parking spots are limited.

The room was clean and the staff were courteous and friendly. Please note: Parking is gated and a bit confusing on how to access it. Short drive way up to the gate on the side of the hotel. I missed it several time when driving up. The Key pad is located on the right side of the gate. You would need to get out of your car to open the gate. Entering the parking is narrow so slow down when entering and the parking slot are very narrow. It was difficult to get into my car when another car is parked next to me.

This room was really nice, the restroom was a bit small, but the staff was super friendly. There’s no central ac, but it does get super cold at night with the ac unit in the room. Even though we got a room with highway noise for the view, we hardly heard any noise. The windows were incredible for that. The bed was the best part of this room and the tv had streaming services. Overall, the stay was perfect for where we needed to go as it was literally close to everything we needed to visit.

We had a wonderful stay. Ended up arriving early and they let us check in. The room had a very good AC and comfortable beds so we had the best sleep while in hot San Diego weather. The staff are so friendly and were very accommodating and quick to action when we needed anything. The rooms do get some noise from the road but they provide ear plugs so it wasn’t an issue.

I rarely complain about hotel experiences, but I feel people should be aware of serious safety issues at this property. After midnight of our first night at this hotel, someone was aggressively knocking on doors and shouting names in the middle of the night for hours. It was frightening. We of course tried to call the staff, but there were no staff members available after midnight — they leave at 12 — which meant there was absolutely no one on site to help. We felt stuck and helpless, with no support from the hotel, and ultimately had to call the police ourselves. This isn’t just about comfort or noise — it’s about safety. A hotel’s first and foremost responsibility is to provide a secure environment for its guests, and this place failed to do so. Tomorrow morning we naturally just packed and checked out and moved to a better hotel (we booked this for three nights). Adding to the frustration, management only refunded the nights we didn’t stay, but not the nightmare night we endured. I think it’s obviously unreasonable to expect guests to pay for a night like that. But they didn't seem to care. Also, be aware: you should not expect a normal hotel or even an inn experience here. This is essentially a low-grade room rental, and I totally failed to notice that when booking. If safety, service, or basic hotel standards matter to you, I cannot recommend staying here.
