The hotel is absolutely clean and charming. Staff was always very friendly and kind always offering help or suggestions. Victor made suggestions of local restaurants on our first day and The Mission Breakfast spot was so good we went twice!

Good location

Best thing about this hotel is the location. Close to restaurants and 5th street. Basically the beds are just ok, the pillows foam rubber .

Incredible hotel and beautiful bar but the standard room is tiny and it’s always freezing cold inside the hotel. Great location and you can walk to everything. $60 per night for car storage was a little much.

Beautiful but loud

The hotel is a landmark, old and beautiful but the experience was not good as we were kept awake with a party going until 3AM in the bedroom one the side and in front of us.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Room not so good. Shower and tub didn’t drain. Hard to start shower. Had to be a contortionist to get to tp. Bed squeaky. Comfortable though and room clean.

There wasn’t much of a bar and restaurant. ( I didn’t see a restaurant). The Gaslamp area was very busy, yet the Horton Hotel bar was dead. The room was clean, cozy, and quiet. Great location.
