The stay at The Dana was amazing. The property was clean and well maintained. Rooms were clean and orderly with the basic items in the room that you would expect for a hotel (soap, towels, hair dryer, robes, coffee ECT). Checking in was quick and easy. I was also fortunate enough to check in early and was given the option to check out via txt. The location is about a 10 min drive to mission Beach and so many close food locations. The only issue I did encounter was that parking at the location was an additional charge. I didn't even see that listed on the initial booking info so be aware.

There is no elevator to get up to second levels. Also, it was very difficult to find a place to temporarily put the car during check in because you have to have a room key to go into the gated lots. I had to leave someone in the rental car during check in. Were there a couple of spaces for 5-10 minute parking, it would have been far more convenient.

Quick Weekend Trip

I booked a quick getaway trip with friends and the hotel exceeded our expectations in a positive way. The beds were comfortable and the space was more than enough for a group of four. We stayed at the junior suite and the view was amazing. It was overlooking a huge water bay. They had a movie playing at one of the two pool locations. It was a plus that it was a heated pool as well. The restaurant on the property was a vibe and the menu was well priced.

We had another great stay at The Dana! I'm amazed by how clean the property is being dog friendly. We had a view of the bay and a patio this time which we'll definitely request next time. I wish they had a coffee shop closer by, but it's an easy bike ride to one. Also it was very quiet even with bbq's and parties going on by the water. Fun seeing fireworks out our door!
