Good home base for a visit to San Diego. The pools were fun for our young one. The pool water was pleasantly warm. The restaurant is convenient as there isn't much to walk to outside of the resort.

I was able to check in 3hrs early and I was given access to the pool while I waited for my room. And they offer to hold your luggage for you as you explore the propery before the room was ready. The bed was very comfortable and love being able to use the pool and spa as between 8am to 10pm. The nachos that I ordered were ok.

They property was really nice and the rooms were clean, spacious and well kept. The pool are was in a great location and our kids enjoyed it. It's not walkable to anything else but in a good central location to drive to spots we were interested in. They did discount our parking but honestly, not sure why we paid for parking on their own property.

The parking is a nightmare. Serious nightmare, which you pay nightly for. Our room had a couple spiders inside, not the surprise we like. If you're early - even just a little and a room is ready, you'll be charged for early check in. (The concierge was nice and voided it for us, but heads up). The mini fridge barely keeps items cold or freezes them. And the fireworks from Seaworld - although a nice treat, were exceptionally loud at night.
