- We are not refilling gas BBQ grill so you would have to bring the empty tank to Home Depot or Walmart to exchange due to our house keeper no longer doing this.
-Indoor fireplace is not available for use.
-There is a fee to heat up the pool and please note that we provide the instructions to heat it up upon guest's arrival.

IMPORTANT: POOL
1. If the pool is used and you take out the vacuum, you must put it back in when done using the pool. The Vacuum is what keeps walls and floor clean of bacteria.
2. Intake line “hose” must be disconnected before it is taken out of pool. Otherwise it sucks air and will ruin pump.
3. Do not remove the tablet dispenser from pool. Can’t keep the pool clean without that equipment running.

PLEASE NOTE:

We have exterior cameras in front of the house and at the backyard (pool area) for security and insurance purposes.

My host contact me the morning of check in at 6:30am telling me there was a problem with the property and tried to move me to another house in a different city. I had to scramble to find another house same day.

Caveat Emptor (do a complete walk through on arrival)

I don't like leaving negatives but there were some issues with this stay.The good:Exactly the type of property we were looking for a family get together (UCR graduation).Pool. Pet friendly. Enough rooms for us. Close to Riverside & Toyota Center.Reasonable pet fee (I suggested that the manager add the fee to the property description so there wasn't any surprises for future guests. I understand a fee is customary, no issue paying it.Next, not so good.(I would have probably overlooked this if it wasn't for the final issue)Trash cans on the street filled to overflow (animals had dug in them). This is odd since the property rules say trash pickup was 1-2 days before we arrived & the rules say make sure the we place the cans on the curb in time for pickup.Pool sweep wasn't working & there was a lot of floating debris so the pool wasn't ready to use when we arrived. The manager dispatched the tech to come over and remedy the issue.Some construction debris (pool was reworked recently) & cigarette butts, etc. in the back yard.The bad (I just can't abide by this).When we checked in there was no one there to do a walk through (OK - access codes worked). We noticed a couple of stains in the MBR carpet. My wife noted they were dry & smelled perfumed/treated. We were charged 150 for carpet damage after checking out. The PM said we didn't declare the issue when we arrived so it was our damage(it wasn't). PM said she would keep me posted but hasn't replied to follow up msgs.

Vacation Retreat

My husband and I and two daughters and their families thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days in June to attend a college graduation party and visit with family. The house is spacious (about 2,900 square feet), and has plenty of seating in the living room and kitchen/family room areas. Our family enjoyed the backyard pool and foosball. The house is so spacious that our grandkids played "hide-and-seek 2 or 3 times. There is a Stater Bros and many other stores, restaurants, cafes, and ATM's nearby. The house is located in a quiet cul-d-sac with a large driveway with plenty of parking. I would definitely consider renting this home again.

Fantastic family vacation!

We had a wonderful stay at this home. Communication with the homeowner was extremely quick and helpful. Our kids loved the pool, the kitchen was great for cooking family dinners, the living room was great for watching movies together, the bathrooms are well-designed, and the beds were comfortable. The treelined drive into the neighborhood is breathtaking! There’s a grocery store nearby, and a really great taco place near the university (Los Tacos Locos). We took day trips to LA, San Diego, Laguna Beach, and Lake Gregory. All spectacular, and pretty easy drives! Highly recommend this vacation rental!
