Great stay, beautiful house.
We stayed at Casa Mila for about a week. 6 adults total. This was not our first time to CR, but it was our first time to Samara area.House is located about 5-6 blocks from downtown. Beach is a few blocks more. Easy 10 minute walk.House was great and had everything we needed. Pool was awesome. Fairly quiet neighborhood. We had a car and there was covered parking. Communication with host was easy and responses were always quick via Whatsapp. We ran into a few travel snags and Jacquie was super helpful. Backyard/pool is assessable through 2 of the 3 bedrooms. This was not a problem for us. AC was good and strong in all 4 rooms. WiFi worked great. Kitchen had everything we needed. On our visit, we had a resident iguana living in the rear gutter. It was fun watching his daily trips up to knock down guavas from the tree.We would definitely stay again if Samara were our destination. Highly recommend a day at Carrillo Beach. We made a visit to the Macaw Recovery and a trip looking for dolphins and snorkeling with Samara Adventure CO. Mostly we just lounged on Samara Beach and surfed the gentle waves. Sheriff Rustica was our daily lunch place.FYI, infrastructure in coastal CR can be a bit eradicate, so set your expectations appropriately ahead of time. Storms happen, roads close, power goes out, and water pressure can be low or non-existent. If you need highly available infrastructure, you might not be cut out for a CR beach vacation.
