This cozy resort is beautifully tucked between the lush mountains of Samaná and the stunning shores of Las Galeras Beach. The rooms, grounds, and pool areas were all well maintained, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. The buffet could benefit from more variety, especially for guests staying multiple days. Likewise, the bars would be more appealing if they featured a broader selection of well-known liquors and highlighted more of the exceptional local rum brands—some of which truly rival the best. Staff were consistently friendly and attentive, adding a warm touch to the overall experience. If I could rate it 3.5 stars, I would. Since that’s not an option, I settled on 3—but with just a few thoughtful upgrades, this property could easily reach 4.5 stars. It clearly has great bones, and like many places still recovering post-pandemic, a little investment could go a long way.

The toilet did not looked clean when we got there, I never mentioned it. They don’t have after hour food, so if you’re hungry yes you would have to go outside. The water was out for hours on the day we were leaving. Didn’t really have night entertainment like other resorts. It’s a little outdated for its cost.

We had a great time!! The staff was exceptional. The property and beach is like nothing I have ever seen. The food was good. The only problem that we encountered was with the electricity in our room and around the property. We couldn’t plug things in the bathroom because it was cause for the room to lose electricity. Thankfully the breaker box was inside our room and was easily restored. Other than that (which I hope they fix) it was great! Shout out to the employees who made it a great experience.

The food was really bad, bad quality and few choices. Absolutely no entertainment, the big pool had a nasty chlorine smell, we never used it. The hotel is still under construction. The only good thing was the beach and the room.

La propiedad está limpia,las habitaciones son amplias,los trabajadores son amistosos,la playa está buena PERO LA COMIDA ES PÉSIMA.En Travelocity dice q tiene 4 o 6 restaurantes y TODOS ESTÁN CERRADOS.Fuimos un grupo de 16 personas,un niño de 6 años (alérgico)tuvo q comer arroz blanco solamente en dos ocasiones porque no había pollo.Daniel tuvo q tomar un taxi x $30 para salir y comprar un pernil de cerdo asado en $50 ,también compró queso blanco enfrente del hotel,es vergonzoso,el menú en el buffet en la cena es limitado (5-6 platos),la elaboración inadecuada,las frutas no siempre son frescas,ensaladas escasas,panes viejos,dulces llenos de moscas .Hable con el administrador WILSON ,dijo q están en reparación,q había muy pocos clientes,cosa q NO ES MI ASUNTO,no me importa,y me ofrecieron un paquete de bebidas premium,yo le dije q eso no era la solución,q me devolviera el $ para abandonar la instalación ya q no estaba preparada para ofrecer servicios e hizo caso omiso,le manifesté el descontento del grupo por la falta de comida y q me sentía ENGAÑADA Y ESTAFADA .Yo he visitado este país en más de 10 ocasiones y es la primera vez que me sucede semejante TRAGEDIA,esta mala experiencia no quisiera que otra persona la viviera .EVITE SER ESTAFADO .ESTE HOTEL NO TIENE CONDICIONES PARA ESTAR FUNCIONANDO DEBIDO A QUE LA COMIDA ES POBRE
