OCEANVIEW Salvo - Rampart Street - Enjoy the sweet days of summer at SUMMER BREEZE and have not a care in the world. This custom-built home in Salvo is located just four lots from the beach with access at the end of the street. Walk up to the doorstep and enter to be welcomed by a game room with pool table, foosball, flat screen TV and wet bar and nearby convenient half bath. The main living area is located on the mid-level of the home and features a bright sitting area around an entertainment center with large flat screen TV. The dining area seats eight at the table alongside the breakfast bar with seating for another two. There are smiles awaiting in the open kitchen, with plenty of space for the chef and assistants, and boasts high-end stainless steel appliances, and custom cabinetry, countertops, and tilework. The screened porch off the dining area is the ideal place for enjoying a meal outdoors. A second half bath is located on this level along with the king master bedroom which includes a private full bath with Jacuzzi tub, dual vanity and glass bock shower. Three more bedrooms are located on the top level of the home including a queen master bedroom with private full bath with Jacuzzi tub and two more queen bedrooms that each has access to a private commode and a shared shower between them. The decks on both the mid-level and top level of the home provide a lovely area for relaxing with a good book and casual conversation as the SUMMER BREEZE is blowing through the jasmine in your mind. The crow's nest, just a few steps up from the top deck, provides beautiful ocean and sound views. Appointed with modern conveniences and upscale decor, SUMMER BREEZE makes you feel fine.

Beautiful House

This home was very cozy. It had the perfect feel to it, as if, you were in your own home. It was spacious enough and roomy. Close to the beach (about a 3-5 minute walk) and great views from the crows nest.

great time!

This was our first time in the Outer Banks and this house was great! Plenty of space to spread out and bathrooms for everyone is always a plus. The location is great with a quick walk to the beach and it is in a quiet and relaxing neighborhood. The place was super clean upon arrival and linens being provided was a big plus. We were able to get into the house a bit earlier than expected which was a huge help after having traveled so far. A few minor things- the couch could be updated, was rather uncomfortable. Would be nice to have true blinds in each room. My kids go to bed early and kept asking me to turn off the lights, but it was just the sunlight coming in through a sheer curtain or no blind at all. This house would be even better if it had a small pool! Would definitely come back- don't hesitate!

Fun Family Week

The Summer Breeze house was perfect for our family week at the beach. We stayed here with our daughter, son-in-law and 12 year old granddaughter. PLENTY of room for all! The house is very spacious inside and out. There are so many decks to choose from, some shaded and some full-sun. The screen porch was also a great gathering spot for us to sit and chat. We enjoyed the hot tub and were pleased to see it had been serviced just prior to our arrival and was also serviced mid-week. The kitchen was well-supplied with utensils and pans. Be sure to bring all your own condiments, spices, paper goods, etc, as no food products are left in the house from one stay to the next, which we didn't mind at all. We grilled one night (gas grill) and cooked inside a few evenings. The sand is deep and hot along the access to the beach, so be sure to bring sturdy flip-flops. The beach was nice and wide -- we brought a canopy to shade us when we weren't shelling or enjoying the surf. We recommend the Wild Horse Adventure in Corolla, the Wright Brothers Memorial in Kitty Hawk, the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum in Hatteras and of course all the lighthouses. Buxton Village Books is a charming store you might want to explore. The rental agency was very attentive and communication was great. We highly recommend a stay at the Summer Breeze in Salvo!

Quiet retreat

This house was wonderful to stay in! Plenty of space for everyone to have their own time, and the outdoor spaces were beautiful. One thing to note is there aren’t cleaning products, so if you’re like me and like wiping countertops and such, bring your own disinfectant sprays. I think there’s room for improvement for the company to have simple products like that so the homes are properly cared for with products that are good for the surfaces in the house.

Great house in a great location. The management company was incredibly professional and responsive. Its notification procedures are A+, as were its response times, provided you communicate electronically. Our family had such a great time and truly enjoyed our stay at this location, that we intend to return and stay at this house next year. When leaving reviews, which I rarely do and only when very satisfied, I believe that it is important to point out one area which I believe could be improved upon. I believe that it helps the owner provide an even better experience for those who visit in the future. If you are a family that prefers to prepare its own meals, an upgrade of its cooking equipment i.e. pots, pans & utensils is necessary.

Beautiful Home.

The Ocean Summer Breeze Home was amazingly gorgeous. We were pleased with how it looked online when we booked it, but in person it is much nicer. Very spacious and open airy feel. The kitchen is awesome and the outside decking is awesome. The top crows nest deck is awesome for sunsets and you can see the ocean and surfside. The master suite is absolutely amazing, with a bathroom that is massive and amazing. 8 adults stayed without any space issues at all. There is also a hot tub that we were unaware would be there. A nice touch. The under decking/parking area is spacious and super nice and the basement game room and bar are a nice touch. You won't be disappointed with this house.

Peaceful Stay

House: The house is beautiful. It had nice amenities, and all the things you would need while away from home...especially in the kitchen. The beds were a little hard upstairs but everyone has their own preferences when it comes to that. Pool table and Foosball are always fun additions. We made plenty of use of those. There was no chalk and some of the tips on the pool ques were in need of repair. The hot tub was very nice because we unfortunately got stuck with rainy cooler weather at the End of May. Location: Beach access at the end of the road was a little bit of a haul down to the actual beach, if you're carrying stuff to stay all day. However, there is a beach access nearby that's not nearly as bad. We also frequented the Salvo Sound Day Use Area. Great place to let kids play and wade in water. Super close to little markets and Dollar General, and not far at all from Avon. Overall we truly enjoyed our stay at Summer Breeze. Even when we were stuck inside due to rain, it was such a relaxing place to just chill out and enjoy family and friends. We will definitely keep this home in our list of repeat rentals.

This is a beautiful home, appears to be professionally decorated. It was very clean, and comfortable. There are multiple separate areas of the deck that we enjoyed, including a cozy dinner area, and a screened porch. The home is a 5 min walk to the beach. FYI, although I initially booked through VRBO, I was never in contact with the “vacation rental by owner”, only the property management company. I texted a few questions on arrival and received a prompt response. Be Aware: I have used VRBO in many parts of the country, the amount and quality of linens, towels, coffee, condiments, and supplies varies from adequate to outstanding. This Outer Banks rental is the first time that linens and towels were an extra charge. No condiments, including salt and pepper were included. There was a starter pack of toilet paper and hand soap, but otherwise had to bring my own toilet paper, dishwasher soap, sponge, etc. Not sure if this is common in OBX, but was a surprise to me. Still, this is a very, very nice property. Given the furnishings, may be better suited to adults than a family with children.

It was perfect for us and our family of 6. I did think it was closer to the beach than it was 5 minutes is accurate but there was a lot of flooding to walk through/around to get to the beach due to heavy rains, no fault of the property. Hot tub was in the shade and loved that on the rainy days! We didn’t get into the property until 6:30p and cleaning people were still there and that was unexpected. Maybe it was just a busy weekend but why I didn’t give full 5 stars. Perfect property for a big family

Would totally stay here again. The house is decorated beautifully giving you a warm cozy feeling as soon as you walk in. There were som small issues such as the oven and refrigerator doors not shutting properly, but other thank that this is an outstanding property to rent.

Nice house, good location

Cute house, close to the beach. Carpet looks a bit dated but seems clean. Due to COVID, be sure to bring ALL necessities with you (soap, laundry detergent, salt, cooking oil, tp, etc.) because the house is rented with empty shelves with no stuff from previous tenants for health reasons probably.

Lovely home

We absolutely loved this home. It is a beautiful home, with a lot of space. The rooms were big, allowing us to all come together when we wanted, but also plenty of rooms and decks/patios to spread out when you wanted alone time. We loved the pool table and the hot tub. There were a few disappointments, first the hot water didn’t seem to be evenly distributed throughout the house. It got very warm in the master and in the shared bathroom, but not so warm in the kitchen and upstairs master. I wished we had more larger dishes for baking, storage containers for leftovers, 1/3 measuring cup, and a coffee pot that got hotter. Two things this home has that was not mentioned is an outdoor gas grill and a loveseat sofa in the game room that pulls out into a bed. All in all, this is a great home (I don’t think the pictures does this home justice). I would seriously consider this home again in the future. I only gave the cleanness of this home a 4 star, but that reflects surf and sound realty not the homeowner or the home itself.

House does not disappoint!!

Beautiful home with all the amenities!! The only downfall, Hurricane Dorian busted our vacation!! Only enjoyed 2 days. We will return next year to the same house.
