The village is well placed for visiting other attractions such as the magnificent abbey at Whitby and the town's bustling harbour. The dramatic scenery of the North Yorks Moors National Park is within easy reach and can be explored on foot along one of the many paths, or drive along the country lanes and discover the charming villages dotted across the landscape. Skinningrove makes a great base to see the attractions and take advantage of the activities in this stunning area.
