Spectacular Riverfront guest house with unparalleled river & mountain views!
This guest house/guest cottage is located on a 5 acre lush property RIGHT along the banks of the Salmon river. Fish right there if you desire! The views across the river to the magnificent Beaverhead mountain range (the Continental divide) are absolutely stunning! Photos don't do it justice. Wallace creek also flows through the north end of the property into the Salmon river at most times of the year and there is a picnic table out there by the creek to dine at. Abundant wildlife frequent the property including deer, turkey, eagles, osprey, geese, various types of ducks, hawks, owls, blue heron, and many other species of birds. It truly is a virtual paradise! River and mountain views from ALL windows too. (1) spacious bedroom with queen size bed (with river view), (1) full bathroom, a cozy living room with super comfy furniture and sleeper sofa for 1 additional adult. Also has a fully appointed kitchen with river views from the window. Step right onto the patio from the living room - the river is literally steps away. Again there are gorgeous views of the Beaverhead mountain range (which is the Continental Divide) complete with stunning sunrises and sunsets. NOTE: this 850 Sq ft guest cottage is located behind the garage (on the river side) and next to the main house where your hosts (Jan and Tim) live most of the summer. We are very mindful and respectful of your privacy, however! This amazing property is located less than 15 minutes from shopping and dining in downtown Salmon. Many trails in the area for hiking & biking too. We welcome your visit as we love to share “the magic.” We know you will absolutely love “The River’s Edge!”
