Located on Lake Iseo, in a charming historic courtyard house dating back to the 15th century and surrounded by climbing plants and greenery, it offers a comfortable and peaceful stay in spacious, bright rooms. MEZZANINE LEVEL:
Access is via the main gate through the inner courtyard; an antique stone staircase, covered in ivy and wisteria, leads to the rooms on the mezzanine level. The rooms in this wing are air-conditioned and consist of a large living room with a sofa and armchairs. Adjacent to it is the master bedroom with a balcony. The solid-wood bed is a true work of art, hand-carved and extra-large in size. The bedroom features a massive built-in burl wood wardrobe, as well as furnishings, chairs, an armchair, and a coat rack. The balcony overlooks the inner courtyard. The comfort of the rooms makes even an extended stay enjoyable. The private bathroom is equipped with a shower stall and a bidet, as well as amenities including dressing gowns, terry cloth towels, hand towels, soap, and a hair dryer. Through the glass door adjacent to the living room, you can access the lawn, which is equipped with lounge chairs, small tables, and a sofa; the complete privacy makes it ideal for sunbathing in total relaxation. GROUND FLOOR:
The entrance to the ground-floor rooms is directly from the central patio. It features an antique glass door with stone lintels. In this wing, the rooms remain naturally cool, and air conditioning is unnecessary, as the temperature is consistently pleasant. Here you’ll find the bright master bedroom with an extra-large bed, furnished in a modern, designer style, featuring leather chairs by Cattelan. The hallway is illuminated by a stained-glass Art Deco window, and the private bathroom is adjacent. It features a floor-level shower stall, along with all necessary amenities. The living room, with its vaulted ceiling—a classic feature of the era—is furnished with armchairs and a large sofa that unfolds into a comfortable double bed. There are dressers, coat racks, and a table with four chairs.
PORCH, PATIO, KITCHEN:
On the ground floor porch, you’ll find a large fireplace, tables for breakfast and lunch, and a fully equipped kitchen, complete with pots, dishes, silverware, glasses, and accessories—including a refrigerator. The cooktop is induction. The kitchen also features a sink and a wooden worktop.
The large table with an L-shaped bench provides a cosy gathering spot for all guests during lunch or dinner. In the summer, the outdoor areas are furnished with round wrought-iron tables, where you can enjoy meals and breakfast al fresco amidst the cool shade of the plants. In case of rain, other rooms are available, including an elegant dining room with an antique stove.
The patio features a vintage wicker lounge set, where you can sip an aperitif in a cool and pleasant setting, use the computer connected to free Wi-Fi, read, and smoke in complete relaxation. Serving as a backdrop is the antique marble fountain, which enhances the harmony of the setting, where the red tile floor stands out.
