Destination-specific information
Guadeloupe is a tropical island with a unique charm. As on many islands, occasional water or electricity outages may occur and are beyond our control and are not related to the accommodation. Likewise, the local climate may result in the presence of insects, including mosquitoes. These elements are part of the local characteristics and should be taken into consideration when making your reservation.

Sargassum is a natural phenomenon, and its arrival along the coastlines of Caribbean islands is random and unpredictable. There may be no sargassum at the time of booking, while the coastline may be affected during your stay, or vice versa. Its presence may temporarily affect access to the beach, make swimming less enjoyable, and cause characteristic odors, particularly when large quantities of seaweed accumulate along the shore. Unfortunately, we have no way of predicting or controlling this phenomenon. We therefore encourage guests to keep this possibility in mind, particularly when choosing accommodation located close to the coastline or directly on the seafront, as the property may occasionally be affected by the presence of sargassum.
From the Guadeloupe Pôle Caraïbes Airport, pick up your rental car and head toward Pointe-à-Pitre / Le Gosier. Then follow the signs for Sainte-Anne / Saint-François, taking the RN4 and then the RN5. This route is smooth and well-marked; you’ll pass through urban areas and then through the more open landscapes typical of Grande Terre.

After about 25 to 30 minutes’ drive, you’ll arrive on the outskirts of Sainte-Anne. Pay close attention: you’ll pass the Club Med La Caravelle, an excellent landmark. Just past the Club Med, take the first road on the right.

A few meters further on, turn right immediately, following the sign for “Plage de la Caravelle.” Turn onto this small road and continue at a leisurely pace for about 400 meters.

At the curve, you’ll see a dead-end street on the left: turn into it. The residence is located immediately at the intersection, on the right. You’ve arrived—all that’s left to do is drop off your bags and enjoy the nearby beach.
