Relaxing neighbourhood

Vrbo details sadly lacking in important information together with confusion over wifi access, which got us off on the wrong foot. The owner was extremely helpful and understanding, sirting everything out amicably. A beautiful house in a perfect location.

Lovely property in quiet area just a few minutes walk from the village.

We were just three in the end as our additional friends were unable to travel due to recent hospital stay. The house was clean, modern and had everything we required. Contact with Mr Dufour was easy and Carole was waiting for us on arrival. Our only concern was the ground floor room was a little small and the beds low. If our disabled friend had come with us she would have found it difficult- but not impossible- she’s in a wheelchair. The ground floor shower room was large and would have been accessible for her. Would definitely consider going again. The area is lovely. We hired bikes and enjoyed visiting the villages.

ideal family vacation home

Our large family (four adults, six children aged 2 to 16) stayed for a week at Eric’s house in Saint Vaast. The house is spacious, well-designed, with fine attention to detail. The furniture is both practical and attractive. The kitchen is incredibly well-equipped, making food preparation for large groups relatively easy. Indoors, all sorts of games and toys are available, and there’s room to play ping-pong, etc. in the back garden. The house is well-situated, walking distance from shops, the port, a football field and skatepark. Over all, Eric has designed his house for maximum comfort and multiple uses, and I strongly recommend it to anyone traveling to this lovely town.

Comfortable property in lovely part of France

The property is located close to the main village. It has a large living area with seating for dinner and relaxation. We cooked most evenings and the house has everything necessary. There is hot water available 24/7 and the host was responsive to emails and queries we had. We cycled in the local area ( flat if you stay close to the coast) and visited the WWII beaches. Overall pleased with the property and its location.

Great house for a family,large enough for at least 7 adults and 1 child(as we were). The town with its harbour,open spaces and bars and shops is lovely. The house is in a perfect place if you want to visit the Normandy Beaches to the south or the lovely coastline to the north. The house has everything you want to have a perfect holiday.

Ons verblijf was perfect een heel fijne week gehad.Fijn huis van alle gemakken voorzien.Fijne afgesloten tuin fijn voor wat kleinere kinderen en/of huisdieren.Wij zelf zijn niet zo van elke keer naar het zelfde maar dit huis en locatie zou ons niet weerhouden.

Nous avons accueilli en plus de nous mêmes deux couples d'enfants et un de petits enfants (succedant a un couple d'enfants ) ainsi q'un enfant de trois ans. Il restait encore une chambre à un lit de disponible. Le living est vaste et bien éclairé, avec vue sur le petit jardin.Un défaut notable: le four à micro ondes est en bas d'un meuble à 40 cm du sol. Par ailleurs quatre des chaises autour du meuble abritant la plaque chauffante obligent à s'asseoir de côté .

Der Aufenthalt war super, leider vor April, so dass wir das Pech hatten, nicht in den vollen Genuss zu kommen, da Läden teilweise noch nicht offen hatten bzw. die vorgelagerte Insel Tatihou leider nicht besuchbar war.

Des vacances très sympathiques entre amis pour finir la fin d'année en beauté.Cette villa est géniale avec tout l'équipement nécessaire pour passer un excellent séjour.Grande et confortable, moderne et baignée de lumière, vous pouvez vous y rendre sans hésiter. Grossartig

Vom 17.11.24 bis 7.12.24 durfen ich und mein Hund dieses Haus geniessen. Und es ist so, wie in der Beschreibung: gross, sehr sauber, bestens eingerichtet und alles funktionsfähig. Der ebenfalls grosse, vollständig umzäunte Garten hat auch mein Malinois-Dobermann-Mischling aufs äusserste geliebt. Obwohl sich das Haus im Dorf befindet, ist es sehr ruhig gelegen. Einkäufe können zu Fuss erledigt werden und auch das Meer mit Strand ist innert 3-4 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. St.Vaast-la-Hougue selber ist wunderschön, und es macht richtig Spass, die Gegend zu erkunden, es gibt vieles zu entdecken. Auch oder vor allem in der Nebensaison. Wir gehen nächstes Jahr wieder, das ist klar!

Nous avons été enchantés par Saint Vaast et le Cotentin, région que nous ne connaissions pas ! Nous sommes venus en famille et tout a été parfait ! La maison est très agréable et fidèle à sa description. Une mention spéciale pour Eric Dufour (le propriétaire) et Carole, notre hôtesse, à l'accueil et au départ. Tous les deux à l'écoute et au plus près de notre séjour, pour le rendre des plus agréables ... Un grand merci donc à ce Duo gagnant et valeureux !

Fijn verblijf

We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad. We zaten in een mooie omgeving, veel gezien en bezocht. Het huis zelf was mooi groot en voorzien van een grote omheinde tuin. Dit was erg fijn voor onze hond. Huis was voorzien van veel gemakken waaronder een oven, magnetron, wasmachine en droger. Dit was ontzettend fijn met kleine kinderen. Contact met eigenaar was ook goed en positief. Ruimtes waren groot en schoon. Ook de garage was een fijne toevoeging aan het huis. Wat ons betreft een ontzettend fijne tijd gehad en bevelen we het huis graag aan bij andere vakantiegangers.

Super vacances ! Nous etions deux couples de retraités. Chacun a eu son espace et assez de place pour recevoir dautre retraités. La maison est confortable et pleine d'aménagements qui font plaisir Enfin la proximité de la mer, du port, du centre ville nous a comblés !

Merveilleux séjour

Villa magnifique, superbement équipée et propre. Tout est prévu même une bouteille de cidre pour nous accueillir. Carole nous a accueillis avec beaucoup de sympathie et nous a même permis d'arriver 30 min plus tôt. Carole est très réactive et répond très vite à nos messages. La villa est proche de la mer et des commerces, tout peut se faire à pied. Beaucoup d'endroits à visiter. Séjour magnifique et villa idyllique. Nous y retournerons dès que possible.

Perfect Normandy location

Modern and spacious house in a quiet area with a large private backyard. Kitchen offers everything and beds are comfy. Large couch and kitchen island for chatting during cooking. Nice little town with all stores, weekly market and restaurants. Beach in Reville near the campground (5min drive) is endless and invites for long walks. Close to all the sites of June 1944. This was our second stay and we might come again. Thanks alot. 😎😎
