Good location for old town.

Well located to for the old tow, not great for a beach. Great staff and very clean. With off street parking on the property.

Goog value for money

Good value for money. Friendly, helpful welcome.The studio was well equipped and private and the free parking very convenient. On the downside. it is a bit too far to walk to the midtown harbour and restaurants and some people may find the steep ladder steps leading to the mezzanine bedroom inconvenient. All in all, a nice place to stay.

Beautiful location, charming French residence with charming, friendly owners. Every little detail was thought of, bikes available as were towels/parasols etc for the beach. Clean rooms.Pretty garden in which to enjoy a glass of wine. Three course meal available 5 days a week which was absolutely superb. We have visited this hotel about 3 or 4 times and it ever fails to please, just gets better.

Lovely welcome but noisy water system

Super friendly welcome & help from reception staff. Room let down by very frequent water cistern noise throughout both the day and night. Loud kids in swimming pool in house opposite did not help but kids will be kids!

Friendly and affordable hotel

Excellent service by Lena , the owner and manager . Small hotel with AC , big rooms , good size bathrooms , free parking . Free beach towels , umbrella , would be hard to get anywhere with no car . Close to anything on the French Riviera .

Good value for the money

My wife and I spent 3 nights at the Hotel du Soleil. It is well situated, not far from the center of town. The room was of reasonable size and comfortable with a balcony facing the courtyard. The hotel owners were very friendly.

Beautiful Gem!

We've never stayed in a two star hotel before, so were a little curious considering such high ratings on here and tripadvisor. We have to say we were blown away. We were greeted wonderfully by the host, who went above and beyond in ensuring our needs and queries were met. Our room was nice and cosy with a wonderful view from the balcony. We never waited long for assistance, and breakfast was also a treat. This is a lovely place to stay as eateries are within walking distance, while quiet and safe. We've received such a lovely reception here and would totally recommend to fellow travellers!

What a wonderful place to stay. It is run by an amazing Swedish woman and her French husband. San Raphael is an ideal base for travel all over the South of France.

The hotel is about a 10minute walk from town and the harbour. We were looked after well. We bought our own wine and were offered wine glasses by the owner, which was appreciated. Thanks

10 days in France

The husband and wife team gave us the best "hosting" experience of all our days in France. Both fluent English, and very helpful and gracious. Best breakfast we had, as most were just bread and coffee and jams. Very clean and neat, and quiet in a walled and security gated setting, in a nice neighborhood. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely hotel

The owners were extremely friendly, helpful and informative. The room was very nice and beds extremely comfortable. Mini bar with reasonable prices. Newly fitted out bathroom was very smart. Good selection at breakfast. Plenty of parking spaces. Would definitely stay again when visiting the area.

Nice and cosy little hotel

We've stayed two nights at the Hotel du Soleil in May. The location is perfect, the beach is in a 10 minutes walking, the city centre is a bit further away, but the place is calm and quiet. Rooms are small but well equipped, however the walls are thin, so if you're a bad sleeper, earplugs are advised. The breakfast was great (has to pay in addition to the room price). The staff was super kind and helpful, I think this feature was the most valuable with this place.

nice hotel

We booked 5 nights at this hotel and we are glad to found it. The hotel is located closed to Saint-Raphaël city center, which is a beautifull city of The côte d'Azur. You can reach the city or the first beach by 15 minutes walk. The owner, Ben and Lena provide free Bicycle (Holland style) and free beach umbrella, mat and towel. The service is excellent, given with the smile, the best I got in Hotel. Moreover, the hotel is clean, bed comfortable. If you have a car, the parking is free, sometime to small but Ben arrange the space then close the gate during te night for safety. Well I recommanded this hotel if you want to visit south of France !

Quiet and charming hotel

Very happy with our stay at Hotel Du Soleil. The service was great and the hotel was very clean and about 15 minute walk from the beach.
