A lovely property in beautiful surroundings. The pool was great and the gardens very spacious. The property has been refurbished to a good standard and we were very comfortable. John-Pierre and Monique are truly lovely people who made us very welcome and have excellent advice for places to visit. We had a lovely relaxing stay. Thank you!

Nous avons été bien reçu dans cette magnifique propriété situé entre la Dordogne et la Garonne, région nommée “entre deux mers”. Jean-Pierre est un hôte attentionné. Cette propriété est dans un lieu retiré mais ça reste facile avec une auto de rayonner pour visiter plusieurs vignobles.

Great, Relaxing Holiday

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. Jean-Pierre couldn't have been more helpful and was on hand whenever we needed without intruding on our holiday in any way. The pool is large and the teenage boys particularly enjoyed it. There is a huge garden which allowed the boys to let off steam with a football whenever they wanted, and the views over the fields are just lovely. The local area is full of wonderful castles and towns just waiting to be explored. We particularly enjoyed our trips to the Sand Dune and the beach. It is quite a long drive but well worth it. A car is, however, very necessary as the nearest large supermarket is around 15 mins away (although there is a great local shop about 5 mins in the car for bread and other essentials). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this holiday villa. Ruth (Glasgow, Scotland)

Beautiful property and wonderful pool

We are family of 6 (2 adults, 4 children) and we were very comfortable at Jean Pierre's cottage. We stayed here in the first week of August 2022. The accommodation is beautifully finished to a very high standard. The main reason we chose this accommodation was because of the pool. We spent hours and hours in it. And the we all (children particularly) had a fantastic time. I would recommend this property.

Un écrin de plénitude dans l'entre deux mers

Nous avons passé deux semaines dans cette location. La maison est située sur un grand terrain, à proximité de la bâtisse principale. Jean-Pierre, le propriétaire, répond à toutes vos questions et vous donne des idées de visites, d'activités dans la région, et vous conseillera volontier des viticulteurs. La grande piscine est un endroit agréable pour se rafraîchir, et le calme qui y règne est vraiment relaxant. En prime, l'absence de lumière parasite permet d'observer les étoiles de manière magnifique !Merci à Jean-Pierre !

Wunderschöner Urlaub

Unser Urlaub war wirklich wunderbar! Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr idyllisch in Mitten der Weinberge auf einem sehr schönen und sehr gepflegten Gelände und hat alles, was man für einen tollen und erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Unsere Kinder (12 und 8 Jahre) haben den großen Pool und die riesigen Rasenflächen geliebt! Jean-Pierre und Monique sind wirklich sehr nette Gastgeber, wir können einen Aufenthalt in ihrem Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt empfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Absolute rust midden in de natuur

Voor wie op zoek is naar kalmte en rust, weg van de drukke stad, kunnen we zeker dit leuk huisje aanraden. Deze 300 jaar oude hoeve werd gerenoveerd met oog voor traditionele elementen maar ook met een moderne keuken en badkamer. De zeer grote tuin met volledige privacy en het grote zwembad garanderen je een ontspannende vakantie. Jean-Pierre en Monique gaven ons een zeer warm onthaal en wonen op dezelfde kavel, maar ze respecteren ten allen tijde de discretie en privacy van de gasten. Enig minpuntje dat je erbij moet nemen, is dat je toch wel een kwartiertje nodig hebt om naar het dichtstbijzijnde stadje Cadillac te gaan voor boodschappen, maar dat weegt niet op tegen de rust die je hier vindt. De locatie is een goede uitvalsbasis voor Bordeaux, Arcachon, Dune du Pilat, Cadillac, Langon, ….

Très jolie location, belle decoration et très propre, au grand calme à la campagne avec une belle piscine. Le terrain est très grand et très bien entretenu. Belle terrasse au calme. Les propriétaires habitent à cote, sont discrets et sont tres sympathiques.

Erholung pur - Danke! / Détente pure - Merci!

Wir (Familie 2 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder) waren Ende Juli 2023 in Jean Pierres Ferienhaus und hatten einen tollen, erholsamen Urlaub. Jean Pierre hat uns herzlich empfangen, ist super freundlich und stand uns den gesamten Urlaub über mit Unterstützung und Tipps für interessante Ausflüge, Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants zur Verfügung. Das Ferienhaus ist idyllisch auf dem Land gelegen, umgeben von Weinfeldern und Weiden und Bäumen. Von außen sieht das Haus sehr historisch und urig aus, innen ist es modern und schön eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet. Direkt am Haus ist eine große Terrasse mit vielen bequemen Stühlen und Sesseln. Über dem Terrassentisch lässt sich ein Sonnenschirm öffnen - super! Rund um das Haus ist ein großes Grundstück, welches wir benutzen konnten und so viel Spaß mit Frisbee, Fußball und Boule/Boccia hatten. Ein wirkliches Highlight ist der große schöne Pool, ca. 15m entfernt vom Haus (mit einem kleinen Zaun umgeben zur Sicherheit der Kinder) Der Pool ist riesig und sauber, man kann schwimmen, tauchen und Spiel&Spaß haben. Um den Pool herum gibt es Liegen zum erholen und sonnenbaden, eine Hängematte, und sogar ein Tisch-Kicker war aufgebaut! Zusammen mit den Ausflügen in der schönen Region (u.a. Bordeaux, Atlantik-Küste, Saint-Émilion, Castillon) war der Urlaub in diesem Ferienhaus super erholsam und unvergesslich. Vielen Dank Jean Pierre und Monique! Le paradis sur terre

Si vous recherchez le calme absolu, si vous aimez le charme des bâtisses d'antan et si vous appréciez le vin, alors ne cherchez plus, vous êtes au bon endroit. En prime vous ferez la connaissance de Mr et Me Liege ( surtout de Mr ) et vous pourrez apprécier leur sens de l'accueil et leur gentillesse. Comme suggéré dans le titre, mon épouse et moi avons passé un séjour de rêve dans cette propriété et je ne peux que la conseiller vivement aux futurs vacanciers .

Paix et sérénité à Saint-Pierre de Bat

Nous sommes une famille de 4 personnes (2 adultes et 2 enfants de 4 et 2 ans et demi) et nous avons séjourné dans ce domaine du 13 au 25/06/2022. Que dire ? Calme, sérénité, beaux paysages et découverte de la région... Exactement ce que nous recherchions ! Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir un magnifique temps ensolleilé. Jean-Pierre, le propriétaire, est sur place (maison à côté) et il nous a accueilli très gentillement :) Ce dernier est très discret et disponible à la fois en cas de besoin. Il nous a même partager quelques courgettes de son potager (succulentes). Côté propriété... ? juste SUPERBE ! - très bien entretenue et joliement décorée (3 chambres disponibles dont 2 à l'étage (1 aménagée pour les enfants - très bien adaptée). - très très très grands espaces verts vraiment appréciables (avec des vaches pour voisines dans le champs juste en face) - espace piscine juste parfait (cloisonné, transats disponibles, hamac et aucun vis-à-vis). La maison quant à elle propose tout le confort nécessaire : - serviettes (salle de bain) et literie (chambres), - cuisine très bien équipée avec vaisselle, - espace extérieur pour les repas avec parasol, - même un fer à repasser ainsi qu'une plache sont là si besoin. En bref, vous n'avez plus qu'à poser vos valises et profiter ! A part les champs et la piscine, que faire me direz-vous ? Hé bien, nous avons pu visiter : - la Dune du Pilat (à environ 1h) : site vraiment superbe et qui vaut le détour ! Plusieurs plages sont également disponibles aux environs. - la ville de Bordeaux (environ 1h20), - le bassin d'Arcachon ainsi que ses plages (environ 1h30) - ainsi que la ville de Cadillac (à environ 20 min) où un joli marché propose ses produits le samedi matin. Conclusion : c'était vraiment très agréable de découvrir la région et nous ne pouvons que vous recommander de séjourner chez Jean-Pierre sans hésiter ! Encore MERCI à lui :) Nathalie
