Excellent stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Le Saint Alexis. The location was perfect and the beach access was exceptional! Our room was very comfortable and had a beautiful balcony overlooking the pool area. We were three adults traveling - me, my husband, and our daughter. I was pleasantly surprised with the spacious room. The main bedroom was separated by doors to the living area, with a pullout couch for our daughter. The staff were always helpful. The security guards were happily willing to open the upper gates for us when asked so we could park our car closer to our room. The buffet breakfast was excellent and Celine always greeted us with a smile & great conversation! I would highly recommend this hotel to those traveling in the area!

Room with access to the pool is a must. Hotel is fairly dated, certainly needs renovations especially in the rooms. More like a 3 star in terms of service & amenities. Staff speak pretty much no English (thankfully I speak little french) and no translation for help/instructions, as well as breakfast is quite limited. In all beautiful hotel but expected much more in other areas.

Just look at the sea, nowhere else....

Friendly and very correct staff could not stand up to how run down the whole hotel is. Great location and interesting architecture, a shame there doesn't seem any money having been invested since long to maintain a decent standard - let alone a standard allowing for the prices they are asking....

One particular lady on the reception was particularly rude, arrogant and obnoxious. I won’t name names but she definitely needed to attend a customer service course. The others were very friendly and pleasant.

A great stay right on the beach

This hotel is on the west side of the Island and has lots of sunshine. If you have a mini suite you have a patio area from which you can enter the main pool directly via a canal. There are plenty of sun beds around the pool and on the grassy areas in addition to the beach. The restaurant is very good if a little expensive for the English visitor. Reception staff and restaurant staff speak some English so no need to try your French unless you wish to. Easy car parking.

la chambre fait vieillotte, pas de place dans les toilettes, wifi ne fonctionne pas, impossible de demander un sceau a champagne sans acheter la bouteille au restaurant. La chambre (suite) etait spacieuse. Cependant un manque d’éclairage est Ă  dĂ©plorer et le mĂ©nage Ă  revoir. Des fils d’araignĂ©es derriĂšre le lit. Le point de fort reste la piscine. MĂȘme si elle a besoin d’un bon nettoyage. L’hĂŽtel a besoin d’un bonne rĂ©novation. ( peinture , toĂźtures , piscine, les clims d’ancienne gĂ©nĂ©ration, le mobilier , la dĂ©coration) .
