TrĂšs bon sĂ©jour d’une semaine dĂ©but octobre avec une meteo trĂšs clĂ©mente. Nous avons donc pu profiter de la terrasse.Denis ainsi qu’Anne Sophie sur place ont su rĂ©pondre rapidement Ă  nos demandes.La maison n’est pas vu mer mais si proche (descente au sentier douanier et Ă  la plage 2 maisons plus loin sur le mĂȘme trottoir)Effectivement il est difficile de se garer Ă  l’intĂ©rieur (pentu et Ă©troit) mais possibilitĂ© de se garer Ă  l’extĂ©rieur, La maison est trĂšs accueillante, trĂšs vacances, et correspond aux photos du site.

Quartier trÚs agréable, trÚs belle plage.

Malgré une météo un peu juste, nous avons passé une trÚs bonne semaine à Saint Palais. La région est pleine de merveilles et d'excellents poissons. Attention toutefois, la plage est proche mais dangereuse à cause des rochers. Nous avons dû nous baigner ailleurs.

Une parenthÚse ensoleillée

Nous reviendrons. Tout est facile, réservation pour trois nuits seulement, accueil adorable, emplacement extra pour des déjeuners sur la plage aprÚs avoir fait chauffer les plats à la maison deux minutes plus tÎt, un calme appréciable pour faire une pause, petite ou grande. Maison trÚs agréable à deux pas de l'océan

La proximitĂ© avec l'ocĂ©an est un +++ ! on a apprĂ©ciĂ© pouvoir aller avec les enfants Ă  pieds au bord de l'eau; en profiter sans devoir prendre la voiture est un grand bonus. La maison est trĂšs agrĂ©able, bien Ă©quipĂ©e et propre. C'Ă©tait un plaisir d'y ĂȘtre. La seule remarque serait pour la place de stationnement: l'allĂ©e derriĂšre le portail est assez Ă©troite ce qui rend les manoeuvres dĂ©licates et des voitures plus larges ne pourraient pas s'y garer (j'ai une opel Meriva, j'ai rĂ©ussi Ă  me garer de justesse). Mais en dehors de ce point lĂ  ( qui ne nous pas bloquĂ©s malgrĂ© tout), on a vraiment beaucoup aimĂ© et on y reviendra avec plaisir Ă  l'occasion. TrĂšs chouette emplacement!

Super location in beautiful area

It is a charming, detached holiday property in a great, peaceful location, just 2 minutes from a lovely beach and mid way between the town of St Palais and the wild beach, La Grande Cote. 15 minutes walk to either. The photos are accurate but maybe the place is bigger than you expect. It's not luxurious but has everything you could possible want for a holiday by the coast. Comfortable beds, very clean shower room and separate toilet, large salon/well equipped kitchen/dining area. The decked terrace is a good feature for BBQs and meals when the weather suits. It's not super comfortable or elegantly furnished but more than adequate for a holiday. Check in was very easy as was the check out. Private parking was good and despite other posts saying it was tight, we had no problem with a C Class Mercedes. While there we looked at other places for a return visit next year and concluded that we would book again. A good place to relax and take advantage of beautiful coastal walks and beaches.

Logement confortable et bien situé

Nous avons apprĂ©ciĂ© le confort du logement et surtout son emplacement Ă  proximitĂ© de la mer. Nous avons eu un temps dĂ©plorable et n'avons donc pas pu profiter du charme de la cĂŽte. Il conviendrait d'apporter une solution pĂ©renne pour le stationnement car l'accĂšs n'est possible qu'Ă  une voiture de petit gabarit Ă  cause de la largeur. Peut ĂȘtre nous y reviendront en espĂ©rant de meilleures conditions climatiques.

Un superbe sĂ©jour ✹✹

Une halte reposante, bienfaisante et vivifiante Ă  proximitĂ© immĂ©diate de la mer et du sentier des douaniers ! Une maisonnette trĂšs agrĂ©able , conforme aux photos, bien Ă©quipĂ©e, dotĂ©e de la WiFi (impeccable) et une excellente literie et last but not least, d'une terrasse bordĂ©e d'arbres d'oĂč emergeait le chant des oiseaux ! Rue trĂšs calme, stationnement aisĂ© Ă  proximitĂ© et le centre de Saint Palais Ă  au plus 20mn Ă  pieds, le vivier charentais Ă  a peine 10mn toujours Ă  pieds, et le superbe parcours de golf de Royan Ă  5 mn en voiture. Accueil trĂšs professionnel et attentif par Leah, que nous remercions de sa gentillesse et du soin qu'elle a mis Ă  retrouver et Ă  nous retourner en colissimo les clefs que nous avions malencontreusement oubliĂ©es sur place. Un acte manquĂ© Ă  coup sĂ»r, tellement nous nous sommes plus lĂ  bas ! Un seul souhait : y retourner ✹✹

Break idéal à deux pas de la plage

Il était une fois , une famille qui souhaitait se ressourcer , se balader, prendre l'air et vivre autre chose que le quotidien et le télétravail... ils louerent cette petite maison en bord de plage avec ses volets rouges et eurent ce sentiment immédiat d'etre en vacances malgré les nombreuses contraintes qu ils avaient ( mois de février, couvre feu , bars et restaurants fermés). La plage, les carrelets et le chemin des douaniers etaient à deux pas, la location de velo à 15 minutes à pieds. La terrasse ensoleillee le midi et les nombreux équipements leur permirent de cuisiner ce dont ils avaient envie et la propreté et la deco des lieux de se sentir bien, comme chez eux, des grandes chambres et de nombreux rangements mais aussi la douche à l italienne. Le soir , à la tombée de la nuit et aprÚs avoir quitté le ciel orangé des carrelets juste en bas de la maison , ils jouaient aux jeux de société ou branchaient la hdmi et le chromecast pour jouer à Mario en famille. Mais toutes les bonnes choses ont une fin, la petite famille partit heureuse, bien reposée et chargée en bois flotté autant que de souvenirs .
