St Maxima paradis

We stayed at this very charismatic VRBO near St. Maxima la Ste. Baume for a week in June. It is truly a paradise to return to after a day of exploring all thre area has to offer. Wonderful hosts, wonderful ambiance, wonderful oasis in Provence.

Charming villa with lots of space

Had a wonderful week here with 2 small children. The pool house is perfect for a day by the pool, with a fridge and shade to relax. The large BBQ was used everyday out in the garden. I would recommend bringing mosquito repellent as there were quite a few in the evenings. Jean Louis was a great host and even cooked a delicious meal for us on the first night as we arrived late.

Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit bei St. Maximin/St. Baume. Das Haus hat einen ganz besonderen Charme – urig, gemütlich und gleichzeitig mit einem Hauch von orientalischem Flair. Die Einrichtung ist superschön und stilvoll, es gibt viele Zimmer und die Betten sind herrlich bequem. Besonders begeistert hat uns die komplett ausgestattete Küche mit Gasherd sowie der große Grill draußen – hier fehlt wirklich nichts. Auch am Pool wurde an alles gedacht: Ein extra Poolhaus mit überdachtem Essbereich, Spüle, Geschirr, Besteck und sogar einem eigenen Kühlschrank für Getränke. Der Pool selbst ist wunderbar groß, mit tollen Liegen und absolut uneinsehbar, perfekt zum Entspannen. Für uns mit zwei kleinen Hunden war das umzäunte und ummauerte Grundstück ein riesiger Pluspunkt – sicher, privat und einfach ideal. Die Gastgeber wohnen direkt nebenan und sind unglaublich freundlich und herzlich, dabei aber vollkommen diskret. Ein Highlight war, dass sie uns bei der Anreise an einem Sonntag sogar ein frisch gekochtes Essen gebracht haben – so ein toller Empfang! Die Lage ist perfekt für Ausflüge, zum nächsten Supermarkt fährt man nur etwa fünf Minuten. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen definitiv wieder. Absolute Empfehlung für alle, die Erholung, Komfort und Privatsphäre suchen.

Eine Oase der Ruhe

Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und geben gerne Auskunft über sehr schöne Ausflugsziele. Tolles großzügiges Grundstück, was auch super für Hunde ist. Das Haus hat einen tollen Charme. Wir haben uns die ganze Zeit über sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein großes Dankeschön an die Gastgeber!

Ett underbart hus! Mycket väl utrustat kök där frukostar och middagar tillreddes.Smakfullt inrett med flera stora ytor att umgås på. Välskött pool och poolhus där många timmar spenderades.I trädgården finns ett bordtennisbord där barn och vuxna spelade under stort stoj! Värden och värdinnan bodde i huset intill. De fanns alltid tillgängliga, diskreta. Vi fick även njuta av två härliga middagar som de lagade till oss! En vistelse som får oss att längta till nästa sommar då vi hoppas komma tillbaka hit igen!

Une belle semaine

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Jean-Louis et sa femme avec un délicieux pistou, les pâtes, le parmesan et le rosé ! cela fait du bien après une longue route ! La maison, le jardin et la piscine sont très très agréables sans oublier le pool house! Dommage que la propriété soit près de la route et avec une accessibilité un peu compliquée.

Romantisches Haus auf tollem Grundstück

Grosses Grundstück 4000 m2, teils naturbelassen und eingezäunt. Wir hatten einen Hund dabei, der das in vollen Zügen genossen hat. Obwohl das Besitzerpaar auf dem Grundstück wohnt, ist man für sich allein. Kontakt beim Check-in und Check-out und als sie uns 2x ein typisches provenc. Essen vorbeigebracht haben, dass sehr lecker war. Danke dafür Patricia und Jean-Louis ❤️. Poolhaus originell und schön gestaltet. Das Haus ist sehr speziell und künstlerisch eingerichtet. Spannender Mix aus mordern, rustikal, orientalisch und thailändisch. Teils ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, wie die Liegen am Pool oder das Badezimmer im oberen Stock. Veranda vor dem Haus hübsch, aber nicht sehr bequem, dort könnte man Sitzkissen gut gebrauchen. Dafür sehr bequeme Betten mit guten Matrazen, toller Kühlschrank mit Eiswürfelfunktion, und angenehme Kühle im Haus (auch ohne Klima, trotz 40 Grad) .Die Lage ist genial, total im Grünen in der Natur und doch nahe dem Städtchen Saint Maximin, mit gr.Markt (Mittwochs) und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir haben die Zeit dort wirklich genossen.

Entspannung

Der Aufenthalt in diesem Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Grundstück ist schön beplanzt und der Garten hat eine angenehme Naturbelassenheit was unserem Auge wohltat. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und zurückhaltend. Wir wollten eigentlich garnicht mehr weg dort.

Super séjour

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine chez Jean-Louis. Le logement était très bien. La piscine et les abords sont vraiment beaux. Même si le logement ne dispose pas de la climatisation, il est assez facile de le maintenir au frais en aérant aux bonnes heures. Le propriétaire est vraiment sympathique et fort disponible. Il nous avait préparé du pesto pour notre arrivée et offert à boire. C'est vraiment une très gentil attention. De plus, nous avons eu un petit souci avec le lave-vaisselle qui a été réglé dès le lendemain. Merci à Jean-Louis pour sa réactivité ! Au niveau de la localisation, c'est vraiment l'idéal pour pouvoir aller visiter à la fois les gorges du verdon, Saint-Tropez, et tous les petits villages aux alentours. Nous garderons un super souvenir de ses vacances !

Nous avons passer des vacances fantastique, la location est bien située loin des bruit en des regard. La villa est très provençale et agréable avec son caractère, il n’y manque vraiment rien. La piscine est très bien placer au soleil, avec un très beau jardin autour. Dans la superbe pool house ou on peut se relaxer et faire de bon repas au soir. Les propriétaires sont très discrets, aimables et toujours prêt à aider en cas de problème. Ils nous ont fait profiter par deux fois de repas de la région. A l’occasion nous y retournerons avec plaisir

Un cadre idéal

Une situation géographique exceptionnelle , nous nous sommes retrouvés dans un écrin de verdure au pied du massif de la sainte baume. Un accueil très attentionné , des propriétaires d'une gentillesse extrême et une propriété de grande qualité. Que du bonheur . Nous reviendrons c'est sur.

Nicht ganz so perfekt wie dargestellt

Positiv: Sehr netter Besitzer, der sehr bemüht ist und uns einmal die Woche mit einem Essen verwöhnt hat. Sehr schöner Swimmingpool mit umgebender Bepflanzung und schönem Poolhaus. Rest des Gartens naturbelassen. Negativ bzw. zu beachten: Aufgrund des harten Wassers sind viele Wasserhähne bzw. Leitungen verkalkt. So tat es das warme Wasser in der Küche während des gesamten Aufenthalts nicht, im oberen Bad waren die Kräne in der Duschbadewanne nur mit Mühe zu betätigen. Das Haus ist groß, eignet sich aber nur für 4 Erwachsene plus Kinder, da das eine Bad ein Ensuite-Bad ist. Es sind auch nur 4 Liegen am Pool vorhanden bzw. die bequemen Sitzgelegenheiten in Wohnzimmer sind nur für 4 Erwachsene geplant. Die Terrassen am Haus laden nicht zum Verweilen ein. Das Haus selbst ist relativ dunkel.
