Perfect Saint Malo apartment

Our family of 6 had an amazing and comfortable stay at this flat. The location is second to none . . . right in the heart of Saint-Malo old town. I really cannot say enough good things about the location. It was perfect. The apartment is very nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Our two 7 year olds and one 5 year old really enjoyed the "kids loft" (low ceiling so made for kids under 5 foot tall). Pascale went above and beyond to make the check in and check out super easy for us. I hope we can come back some day.

Perfect location et TrĂšs bel appartement!

It's been many years since I was in St. Malo and used to stay at hotels but this VRBO is centrally located and well-maintained. We were two couples and a 13 year-old son who happily had the mezzanine to himself. NOTE that there are two rooms with bath/shower but only one TOILETTE. And you will need to let the owner know whether or not you would like sheets/towels, which come at an extra fee. The main door to the street was always open for some reason, but we just kept closing it when we endtered or left. Overall, a wonderful place to stay!

Great Apartment with Amazing Location!

Beautiful apartment located in the heart of Saint-Malo. The apartment is fully equipped and modern. Step out of the front door and you're in the middle of the bustling life within the city walls. We parked our car right outside the city walls and didn't need it unless we were venturing to another city (e.g., Dinan). The entire city within the walls is walking distance. All the surrounding beaches and ferries are walking distance as well. Our family loved our stay and the hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. Thank You!

Outstanding Modern Apartment in the Old City of St. Malo

This apartment is clean, newly furnished with up-to-date everything, and beautifully decorated. It would be comfortable for 2 couples or a family of 4-6, but my husband and I enjoyed the spaciousness for just us two. There are two bedrooms with beds not as large as American Kings and Queens, but otherwise great. There is one WC and two "bathrooms", one with a shower and one with a tub, which was challenging to enter and exit if you are short; a bath mat to reduce the slippery surface would be good. The tub would not work for someone with mobility issues. The same issue is true of the bar stools at the kitchen counter, the seats are very high. Finding the step stool in the second bedroom was helpful for a short person like me! Located on one St. Malo's busiest shopping streets, the apartment is an oasis of calm and quiet, yet you are right in the center of the old town whenever you wish, and nothing is more than a ten-minute walk--over cobblestone streets--away in the "Intra-Muros." Bakeries, tea shops, grocery stores are even closer. American travelers should note that the owners do not provide supplies that are always found in American-owned apartments: hand and bath soap and toilet paper. Everything else--dishes, cooking utensils, towels, is there, but a heads up about the other amenities would have been helpful before arriving, especially if you arrive on a Sunday or holiday when the nearby grocery is closed. In addition, there is a charge for all bed linens used and a charge for using the underground parking garage several blocks away. Getting in and out of the inner city in a car is quite challenging at first; getting in and out of the parking garage was challenging every time. A guide to the "best restaurants" or "best things to do in St. Malo" in English would have been helpful, as well as a guide in English for operating the combo washer/dryer, but we made use of the information in French as best we could. Almost all shop/restaurant staff speak excellent English, and everyone was gracious and friendly. This place looks just like the photos, and the local woman who assisted us with the move in-move out was also very helpful. St. Malo was a great place for a restful sea-side vacation, with a few side trips to Dinan, Dinard and Mont Ste. Michel.

Excellant well appointed appartment within the Walls

The apartment was near the Port St Vincent which gave easy access to the external car parks and all the necessary facilities, groceries, bakers and restaurants, were within a short walk from the front door. The enclosed garage was a blessing for us as our holiday included the weekend of 'Toussaint' and the city was extremely busy. The apartment was very comfortable for 5 adults, warm , cosy and quiet. Madame D, who met us on arrival and on leaving, was most helpful and very pleasant. All in all we had a very restful and pleasant holiday in St Malo and would highly recommend this delightful apartment to friends and family.

Accueil professionnel et trĂšs chaleureux. Rien Ă  critiquer en ce qui concerne l'appartement. Il est comme dans la description, trĂšs propre, grand et bien Ă©quipĂ©. Les fenĂȘtres des deux chambres Ă  coucher sont du cĂŽtĂ© d'une cour intĂ©rieure et il n'y a donc pas de bruit de la rue qui pourrait dĂ©ranger pendant la nuit. L'appartement est parfaitement situĂ© pour accĂ©der facilement aux attractions touristiques Intra-muros, aux magasins et aux plages. Et en profitant de l'offre pour un emplacement souterrain rĂ©servĂ© pour la voiture, on peut aussi facilement visiter toutes les autres attractions touristiques de la rĂ©gion, sans devoir chercher un emplacement en retournant d'une visite. Lorsque nous retournerons Ă  Saint-Malo, cette location sera notre premier choix.
