Typical 17th-Century Cevenol farmhouse at the heart of nature, outstanding view

Northeast of Alès, 10 km from city centre, a complete change of scenery is guaranteed in a 17th-century Cévennes farmhouse surrounded by several dozen hectares on the southern slopes of the Cévennes, in the heart of “unspoiled” nature. Holm oaks, olive trees, chestnut trees, and more...
Spot numerous birds (more than 36 species already identified), animals, and abundant flora. The most pleasant time to visit: April and May, when spring flowers burst into bloom and pollinating insects are everywhere.
Breathtaking view of the Gard plain.
A PR (short hiking trail) runs through the property.
Numerous hikes starting from the cottage, ranging from 1 km to 25 km.
An impressive bread oven (2 metres in diameter) will liven up your “barbecue,” “pizza,” or “traditional cooking” evenings—bread, cakes, and more...
Numerous wooded and shaded areas perfect for relaxation and rest.
An enchanting setting will spark children’s imaginations (treasure hunts, building treehouses in the forest).
For sports enthusiasts: jogging, mountain biking, hiking, and paragliding nearby.
In season, chestnuts and mushrooms can be found on the property. A paradise for young and old alike.
Two private above-ground pools, each 1.20 m deep, with breathtaking views: a 3.60-meter round pool and a 7 m x 3 m rectangular “Zodiac” pool. Trampoline, swings, and table tennis.
For car enthusiasts: the Alès Motor Sports Complex is 7 km away (car, motorcycle, and lorry races) and features go-kart tracks.
