Stunning Castle
We were three families with 6 adults and 6 kids ranging from 3 to 14 years of age. The place was absolutely stunning and suited our requirements perfectly. If you wanted some peace and quiet there were plenty of places to retreat to. The outdoor space is immense and the wild flower meadow is the best i've ever seen.
We absolutely loved this place and will return. The owner was great with communications and very helpful with questions about the area.
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your wonderful property and we will return
A truly relaxing and gorgeous place to stay with friends and family. Our most memorable part of the stay is the evening meal out on the terrace. We couldnât disturb anyone else and just loved all being around the large table enjoying each otherâs company, surrounded by bucolic scenery. The The rooms are so lovely, but despite the grandeur the chateau just felt so friendly and homely. The pool was also a joy, we all had great fun there. The owners are truly delightful and helpful.

Great holiday at Laubertie
Great holiday at Laubertie with friends and family.
Location was very rural which was exactly what we wanted yet not too far to to the shops.
Jacques and Monique were charming and very helpful.
We could have done with fans in each room as the nights were very hot.
SUPERB meal at Logis Auberge de La truffe in Sorges .
Another great meal was in Thiviers at Lâescapade des Sens .

Jacques was extremely helpful on our arrival.
The house was just as described - a lovely chateau in a delightful part of France. It is in a very peaceful and serene environment and was the perfect place to relax.
Lots to do nearby - especially enjoyed the local markets and the pool!

Absolutely fantastic
Jacques and Monique (the owners) have a fabulous property in Chateau Laubertie that looks, feels and lives up to the photographic images if not surpasses them in real life. They are quite rightly proud of what they have achieved and if the truffle wood being grown in a corner of the estate comes to fruition, it will make Laubertie an even more special place. We would not fault anything and we had no inclination to do so during or after our stay. We had a wonderful 2 weeks with many memories and the ability to be totally relaxed and enjoy ourselves and be with our family. Jacques and Monique are on hand to offer advice or help if needed and in fact, they thanked us for looking after their castle which we felt honoured to be able to do so. We are a family group of 6 adults and 4 children aged 9, 4, 4 and 20 months. At no time were the children bored and neither were the adults. The Chateau is ideal for a family group, a short drive to the local shops (Sorges and Negrondes) but far enough away and secluded to be able to enjoy either the total peace and quiet or for the kids to make a lot of noise and not disturb any neighbours. All the facilities are there both for practical and for amusement, plenty of literature to read on local amenities and tourist sites, just over an hour's drive to Bergerac or Brive or Sarlat and 30 minutes to Perigueux for the hypermarket and shopping centre and of course, Perigueux old town itself. Wildlife abounds in the grounds and surrounding areas adding to the ambiance. We have many happy memories to take back with us and we will be telling all our family, friends and neighbours back in the UK just how fabulous our holiday was and just how lucky we were to find and stay at Chateau Laubertie.

Beautiful and peaceful!
We had the most wonderful two weeks at Chateaux Laubertie. What a beautiful, peaceful place. The house is full of character and is equipped with everything you need and the garden is just amazing to walk around and explore or sit under the trees and relax. Beautiful views from the pool overlooking the field of sunflowers.
Our host, Jacques Boucher, was very helpful if we needed anything.
We didnât want to leave!

The property suits us as a "tailor made coat"!
We were with 8 adults and had a lovely stay in the Perigord region with quiet surroundings. Just the sound of a lot of birds keeps you awake during the day. The castle is very well equipped and decorated and not to big, neither to small. It fits the number of guests very good.
You can visit several nice little towns(one or two stars Michelin!) but make cycle or walking tours as well.
In short: lovely castle and park, everything you need is there.

Kleines Schloss mit sehr viel Charme
Das ideale Ferienhaus fĂŒr eine Gruppe von 5 befreundeten Paaren!
Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr netter Kontakt mit den EigentĂŒmern.
Just came back from a 2 weeks stay.
What a beautiful chateau on a great location.
Just sit outside and listen to the sounds of nature and nothing else.
See deers, swines and foxes from your bedroom window.
Enjoy the facade of the Chateau each time you drive up the driveway.
We all really enjoyed it.
