VIEWS VIEWS VIEWS!!! No home on the island comes close to offering you the breathtaking views seen from our home. Relax on the front porch and admire the surreal low country marshlands. Take in the awe inspiring St Helena Sound and Atlantic Ocean from the back porch. Soak in the picturesque vista of Harbor River from the north end of the house. Watch breathtaking sunsets from your balcony that can only be described as surreal. Folks arrive an hour early to get a spot on the beach just to watch it set but you have a front row seat from your porch! Every room offers unparalleled views. Seriously, pick a room and smile :). The beach at our house is sparse, quiet and calm. RELAX RELAX RELAX. It feels as though you are on your own private island. The home has it's very own boardwalk to the beach. Walk right out the back door to paradise. The house has 4 Bedrooms, 3 1/2 Bath plus outside heated shower for rinsing off the salt and sand, Sleeps 12, Downstairs Master (Beachwalk) on suite with King and views of the beach and entrance to screened in porch. Upstairs Master (Ocean View) on suite with King and private balcony with breathtaking views of the sound, ocean and Harbor River. Queen Bedroom (Sunset) with double bunk beds with amazing views of the Harbor Bridge. Another Queen Bedroom (Harbor Marsh) with double bunk beds with stunning views of the marshlands. If you used the kayaks, please rinse them off and strap them back into place on the garage wall. Please follow any other instructions texted to you before your arrival.

We had a fantastic trip the last week of December 2025. The host was communicative and provided tons of helpful information about the area. The house was just as described. Everything was neat and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. We had a great time exploring the beach and the nearby state park. We also spent some time shopping in Beaufort, which has fantastic shops and warm people.The views from the home were beautiful. We saw dolphins daily. The neighborhood was very calm. The location was a perfect place to bring in a peaceful new year!

We had a great week at the property. Everything you could want was included. We had some issues with the golf cart and Derrick was super responsive and helpful. We saw so much marine life and everyone is so welcoming on the island. Would stay here again!

Beautiful Home in a Beautiful Setting.

Harbor Island is perfect for a quiet getaway. This house is very spacious with amazing views, tucked away on the backside of the island. The host is also very accommodating. Highly recommended!

The home is beautiful, clean and spacious. The views are breathtaking and the beach is private! The owner is super friendly and provides so much useful information about the area. Hampton House was an antidote to busy beach blues!

This house is very charming, comfortable, well equipped, and so well located in a nice, quiet neighborhood right next to Hunting Island State Park. The view is lovely with a nice sunrise and sunset experience. The walk to the beach on the board walk is short making a beach day so much less difficult than other locations. You can come and go between the beach and the house as much as you need to with or without carrying your gear and without competing for space or overhearing your beach neighbors' conversations! And those preferring to stay in the comfort of the house can enjoy the view and the beach breezes from the screened in porch. The house comes with kayaks and accessories, which we really enjoyed using to explore the shore of Harbor Island. Lots of wildlife in and out of the water - dolphins, hermit crabs, crabs, other fish, and critters, pelicans, birds of various kinds. My son caught a speckled trout on shore. We ate dinner and had our coffees and games on the screened in porch during the rain, and went back out to the beach when it was dry. The owners were helpful providing any information we needed. We would go back to this house to spend more time!

Beautiful home on the beach

we had 12 people in our party and the house worked great. Bedrooms , kitchen and living space were great. lots of beach stuff supplied which was wonderful. Watching the dolphins and shrimp boats was fun. Great host. Booked 2 yrs ago so my only negative would be that the pictures need to be updated. There is now a house on one side and one being built on the other.Noise from tools, workers and music 8 am-5 was disappointing. We realize this is temporary but a heads up would have been nice. Doubt it would have caused us to change our plans.

Beautiful spot!

Booked this with a group of friends for a weekend getaway. We saw the shrimp boats trolling around from the kitchen table views and watched beautiful sunsets from the great screened in porch. The home is as described with plenty of room. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals and golf cart to drive down to the pickle ball courts. Derrick was responsive and accommodating and would book again.

Beautiful views/construction noise

The house is well equipped with everything you will need for fun at the beach. The host is quick to respond to any request or issue. Unfortunately the peace we were seeking from the home was lacking since there were two homes being built on the left side of the house. Derrick was quick to respond stating that they were allowed to work Monday-Friday between 8am-6pm. We could not enjoy the peace and beauty of the porches during these time frames because of the piercing sound of sawing, nail guns and their loud music which they listened to while working. I suggest if you rent this or any house to check with the owner about any near by construction projects.

Divine Sunsets

We had a lovely trip and the property was comfortable, homey and very clean. We were treated to the most beautiful sunsets we’ve ever seen. We enjoyed time at the state park and a carriage ride in Beaufort, this is a great home to spend a family vacation.

This property was exclusively isolated at the end of the beach which had little traffic and felt almost completely private. The home had ocean views from every window. Included with the stay were kayaks, beach gear, and park passes all a great surprise! This home was kid and toddler friendly/ready which made the experience enjoyable and safe. We safe dolphins everyday right off the soft sandy beach. Highly recommended and will definitely be returning.

Beautiful Get Away

We had a great week at the Hampton House. The house had everything we needed and then some for a perfect stay, nice, clean, and relaxing. Being on the beach and watching the dolphins, hermit crabs, fiddler crabs and sunsets. We also used the pool and gym. Went to Hunting State Park. and it has a great visitor's center, and went to both North and South beaches while we were there. We all had a great time. Thank you Hamptons!!

Perfect for kids and adults

Great views from every single window in the house. Stocked kitchen with pots/pans and spices. Our big family ate outside on the porch every night and enjoyed the memories made. The living room has plenty of board games and the garage has plenty of sand toys and chairs in case you’re missing a few items. We enjoyed our morning coffee watching the shrimp boats and dolphins cruise by time and time again.
