A spacious and sunny terrace with high-quality garden furniture surrounds this modern and very comfortable house, which is ideal for a relaxing vacation. Only 200 m separate the very bright vacation property from a beautiful, long, fine sandy beach. Saint-Germain-sur-Ay, which extends to the state forest of Lessay, invites you to very nice walks. Watch the flocks of sheep grazing on the salt marshes and then taste some of the most delicious oysters from the English Channel. Agon-Coutainville, with its golf course and casino, is 30 km away, and Utah Beach is just another 20 km away. Situated at the gates of the Cotentin Peninsula, this very pleasant vacation home gives you the opportunity to benefit easily from both the sandy beaches, the natural park of Cotentin and Bessin with its magnificent marshland, the landing beaches of the Allies and a day trip from Carteret (25 km) to the Jersey Island. On cooler days or in winter, geothermal heating provides a comfortable room temperature in an economically efficient way.

sehr geräumiges und komfortables Ferienhaus

Das Ferienhaus bietet sehr viel Platz und Komfort. Jedes der drei Schlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Badezimmer. Es gibt zwei sehr gemütliche Sofagarnituren jeweils mit Fernseher und auch die Küche ist top ausgestattet. In der Garage standen sogar Fahrräder zur Verfügung, die allerdings nicht alle fahrtüchtig waren. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig - langes Ausschlafen ist garantiert. St. Germain Plage ist ein reiner Ferienort. Das Haus liegt im strandnahen, älteren Teil. Hier wechseln sich top renovierte Ferienhäuser mit alten Häuschen ab, die eher an eine Kleingartensiedlung erinnern. In der zweiten Augusthälfte war nur ein Teil der Häuser in Benutzung. Alle und alles war sehr entspannt und relaxt. Im Ort gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt und eine sehr kleine, aber gute Bäckerei. Der Strand ist sehr nah, man kann jederzeit kurz ins Haus zurücklaufen. Ende August war der Strand nur spärlich besucht. Der Gezeitenwechsel ist allerdings sehr ausgeprägt. Schwimmen ist im Prinzip nur bei Flut möglich. Südlich des Ortes liegen große Muschelbänke, die bei Ebbe zum Vorschein kommen. Wer frische Meeresfrüchte mag, kommt hier auf seine Kosten. Insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert.
