Welcome to La Cense de la Mérelie, a carefully restored former Périgord farmhouse set in 4 hectares of greenery, offering a peaceful retreat. Located in the Périgord Noir, just 2 km from the picturesque village of Saint-Geniès and close to Sarlat (10 km) and Montignac (12 km), our gîte Le Fournil welcomes you for a holiday combining comfort, nature, and authenticity. With 70 m² of living space, the fully equipped gîte accommodates up to 4 guests.



Outside, enjoy garden furniture, a parasol, and a barbecue for relaxing days in tranquil surroundings. Nature lovers will appreciate the many marked hiking and horse-riding trails nearby. For relaxation, a balneotherapy center is close at hand.



The region is a paradise for food lovers: foie gras, duck specialties, and local wines await you. The Dordogne and Vézère rivers invite you to swim or canoe and discover the unique landscapes of the Périgord.



Guests are responsible for cleaning before departure. Please leave the property tidy. An optional cleaning service is available. Towels can be provided for an additional fee.
