Bugs in the room

There were dozens of bugs in my bedroom. When I brought the issue up to staff their response was that they "thought they took care of the problem this morning" and that they would simply vacuum up the bugs instead of properly cleaning the room or offering me a new one. The issue was not resolved and I told them I could not stay at this hotel if they could not find me a clean room. They refused to refund me the value of my stay because it was too late for them to rent out the bug infested room to anyone else. I am appalled at the service and the fact that I had to pay for a bug infested room which I did not stay in.

They promised a restaurant but on arrival they told me it was closed. For a cyclist this is a real pain when the nearest restaurant is several miles away (with steep hills - in the dark).
