The place was really what we were looking for with a few exceptions I wish I had known about. There are a lot of stairs, and being disabled (knees), it was sort of an issue. When we got there the trash cans were full, and one night something got into it and there was trash everywhere when we got up. We cleaned it up and it was no problem. it was very modern inside with a touch of the old feel. Outside was incredible. Hot tub, table and chairs, fire pit for smores, gardens, a nice walk thru the trees. Really pleasant. There were some trucks early in the morning, not a problem for us because we get up early. The area itself was very pretty. Every house has gardens and takes wonderful care of their houses. Coming from the Adirondacks, that's high praise. The host kept in contact when I let him know of a small issue upon arrival. I've booked places through Vrbo 15-16 times, and this is absolutely top 5.
