Welcome to Cabin #6, a peaceful and comfortable getaway nestled in the Allegheny Mountains of Scandia, Pennsylvania. This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin is the perfect place to relax, unplug, and enjoy the beauty of nature.

The back porch overlooks the quiet forest, offering a serene spot to enjoy your morning coffee or unwind in the evening. Outside, you’ll find a fire pit, picnic table, and propane grill for cookouts and cozy nights under the stars.

Inside, the cabin features a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. The living room includes a TV with a DVD player, and we provide a selection of movies for your enjoyment. For your convenience, starter supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and dish soap are included. Bed linens are provided, along with one towel set per person (bath towel, washcloth, and hand towel).

If you’re celebrating a special occasion during your stay, please let us know in advance—we’d be happy to add a small surprise to make your visit extra special.

Located in the heart of the Allegheny Mountains, Cabin #6 is within minutes to an hour from many seasonal activities, including boating, jet skiing, canoeing, kayaking, golfing, hiking, swimming, fishing, hunting, mountain biking, snowmobiling, and ATV trails. You’ll also find nearby attractions such as the Kinzua Reservoir and Kinzua Dam—one of the largest dams east of the Mississippi and the inspiration for Johnny Cash’s song “As Long as the Grass Shall Grow.”

For water activities, Onoville Marina offers pontoon, kayak, and canoe rentals. You can also rent canoes or kayaks from Allegheny Outfitters or Conewango Kayak & Canoe Rentals to float down the Allegheny or Conewango Rivers. Guests with their own boats are welcome to park them on-site; the Webbs Ferry Boat Launch is just 2 miles away.

Wildlife is abundant around the cabin—guests often spot deer, black bears, squirrels, porcupines, and chipmunks right outside their windows. On clear nights, enjoy breathtaking stargazing away from city lights.

If you’re planning a golf trip, feel free to reach out—we can arrange tee times or provide information on local tournaments.

We also offer a three-bedroom cabin and a studio cabin nearby if you need additional space for your group.
