Exceeded expectations. Warm greeting from Robert on arrival. Virtually no other guests as a convention was at grand summit. Despite few guests, grounds and facilities and staff all first rate. Gym, steam room and pool were immaculate and welcomed. Great views. Stunningly on my departure on a brisk sunny October morning (815 and 36 degrees, more than a dozen staff w Pom poms waved good by and safe travels. I never (I mean never) leave comments but the Jordan forced me. Thank you

The hotel was just OK. It wasn’t great, but there are worse. I would say that it’s probably past its prime. Could use an update and refreshing. It is also way out by itself so it makes inconvenient for dining.

The room was large, clean and quiet. It was nice. Yet I guess I should have looked at reviews before I booked the hotel. Reviews show that the staff are rude. We felt that to be the case with the person checking us in on 9/27/25. He was condescending when we decided to remove bottled water from our snacks (Too late to have dinner). $45+ for crackers, cheese and two bottles of water. He did state that their tap water was safe to drink (in a tone like we were lower class visitors). One bad apple can spoil the bunch. I do not know if breakfast not being included was just because we got the room through Expedia. I did see before writing this that Breakfast was available (Not for all customers.) They did have $16 breakfast sandwiches available though. (Pass). I understand that kitchens are not always open. Many places recognize this by having fruit, cookies, muffins out for late arriving guests. They had Smore kits, but they were gone by the time we returned from putting our suitcase in our room. Wondering if that had something to do with our purchase of only crackers and cheese...

Great Weekend at The Jordan Hotel

We woke up to a beautiful foliage view. The room was nice, the beds comfortable and daily tidy service was a pleasant surprise. The bathroom was a bit tight. The heated outdoor pool was a most delightful 84 degrees. The hot tub was 93 degrees and felt great. Unfortunately the step into the hot tub was about 1 1/2 feet deep and this made getting in and out extremely difficult. Luckily two gentleman guests assisted me and my husband. I’m use to an easy to step in hot tub. The pool area and workout areas were clean and there were lots of towels. At night chocolate, marshmallows & graham crackers were available for making s’mores at the outdoor fire pits. Also ingredients were available for making mocktails. Chocolate covered blueberries & apples were out all day to enjoy. These were very nice touches. The lobby had multiple comfy sitting areas and board games to enjoy.

Jordan House is a nice hotel with great lobby and nice rooms; however, the view from our balcony was ugly. We would have asked to switch rooms if we had stayed longer.
