Best experience! Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again. Only downside was people a few rooms away thinking it’s okay to let their kids have a meltdown in the hallway at 7.30am when you’re on holidays!

Hotel is charming and classic due to its heritage and in a great convenient location with plenty of parking. Beautiful room but the bed was old and needs replacing. Not a comfortable sleep, also very noisy as was the hotel itself. Older building, yes, more than likely not to have sound dampening that newer buildings have but it was very noisy. We could hear the people above us any time they moved around. Not sure we would stay here again but nice to have done so at least once.

I stayed at this hotel for a three-day conference — my first visit — and was very impressed. It’s a beautiful 100-year-old building that’s been thoughtfully renovated. My room was comfortable, well-sized, and had everything I needed. The bathroom was modern, spacious, and spotless with a large bathtub. The only downside was that the windows couldn’t be opened, as I like some fresh air in the room. Breakfast was excellent, with a chef preparing omelettes, poached, and fried eggs to order. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. We also had an awards dinner at the hotel as part of the conference, which was very well done. Overall, the room rates were reasonable compared to other hotels, and I would happily stay here again.
