Spacious and Comfortable Accomodation

Our family of four (2 adult children) spent four days at this location. The unit has very high end finishes and is very comfortable. Parking was close by and easy as well. The hosts were very gracious and made the stay that much nicer. We made day trips to Wurzburg, Bamberg, and Wertheim. Groceries are a short walk and there are also restaurants nearby. A wonderful stay.

Wonderful Apartment

The apartment is beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. The location near the local train station, grocery store and restaurants is perfect. Our hosts personally provided information on transportation, sightseeing and restaurants nearby and in the Wurzburg area. We look forward to visiting again, enjoying the local cuisine and especially the great wines.

Wonderfully Clean and Convenient Apartment

We greatly enjoyed this apartment. Its in a convenient location near Wurtzburg and at the beginning of the Romantic Road. The checkin process was very easy and the apartment is located in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. The apartment is up a circular flight of stairs. The apartment itself is on two levels. Downstairs has a bathroom, kitchen, dining room, bedroom, bathroom and balcony. Upstairs is another bedroom with twin beds. The apartment was very clean and had all the amenities needed. There was a grocery store minutes away that provided everything that was needed, including food, alcohol, beverages and ice. Our hosts were helpful and wonderful, very responsive to texts and answering questions. I highly recommend this apartment.

Beautiful Lodging, Wonderful Hosts!

Mainfranken Suite in Rottendorf is one of the nicest places we stayed during our 4 months in Europe & the UK. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and loaded with every amenity one could hope for. It is just an 8 minute train ride into Würzberg, so the location of the lodging is also quite nice - a small town feel in easy reach of the city. Our hosts, Olaf & Rosie, were exceptionally kind and helpful. We whole heartedly recommend the Mainfranken suite to anyone traveling to the Würzberg/Rottendorf area!

Outstanding place!

My husband and I recently spent four days at this stunning apartment just outside Wurzburg. The apartment is a portion of a very upscale house in this lovely little village. No expense has been spared as it has been updated to a very high standard starting with the granite stairway leading up to your door. Once inside it is even nicer than the pictures and immaculately clean. Recessed lighting, many windows, all with double panes and electric blinds. It is nicely furnished and has a lovely outdoor patio surrounded by flowering trees. The WiFi is great and the television has cable with CNN. The bedroom is spacious and the bed is a U.S. size king sized bed. The kitchen has everything that you need except perhaps a microwave oven. We loved the modern bathroom and walk in shower. Couldn’t ask for anything nicer. The owners Olaf and Rosa are lovely people and speak good English making communication easy. Initially I was a little concerned about staying outside of Wurzburg but transportation is extremely easy. The apartment is literally a five minute walk from the small quiet train station. You do have to purchase a day ticket which for a family is twelve euros but that is more than compensated for by the bargain price of the apartment. The train into Wurzburg runs every 15-20 minutes and takes 6 minutes. You can purchase an area day ticket for 29 euros for two persons and go directly from Rottendorf to Bamberg, which I highly recommend, in one hour. This ticket covers Wurzburg as well if you wish to spend part of that day there. Rottendorf is a small community but has a few nice restaurants and a great grocery store within an 8-10 minute walk. We highly recommend this lovely home and feel that you would be fortunate if it is available for your stay.

Excellent Apartment in Quiet Neighborhood of Rottendorf

We enjoyed our stay in the is spacious, well-maintained apartment for a week while visiting friends and taking daytrips to Wuerzburg and the Roman Road. The kitchen has all the amenities. The bed and living rooms are well furnished. The neighborhood is very quiet and we spent number of hours relaxing on the balcony enjoying the fresh air. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone desiring a excellent vacation unit in a great location.

Beautiful apartment in charming area

Our hosts were very welcoming and the apartment is spacious, very clean, and has every convenience. The bed is very comfortable, the TV superb, and the bath is large and very nice. Rottendorf is a very cute growing town and we ate at a local pizza (Napoli) restaurant and it was great! We will definitely return!

Sehr tolle Wohnung

Eine sehr schöne, gemütliche und geräumige Wohnung mit Balkon und einem wundervollen Blick in die Landschaft erwartete uns. Die Wohnung war sehr groß und man hatte extrem viel Platz. Auch die Einrichtung hat sehr viel Stil und alles war sehr gepflegt.Die schnelle, gute und informative Kommunikation hat uns auch sehr gefallen. Die ruhige Lage der Wohnung eignet sich sehr gut, um sich zu erholen und Ausflüge in die Umgebung zu unternehmen. Es fehlte nichts und die Fewo können wir unbedingt weiter empfehlen.

Das Ferienhaus wurde von uns (Ehepaar) als äußerst angenehm empfunden. Was benötigt wurde, ist da. Ein schönes und geräumiges Doppelbett mit einer hervorragenden Matratze. Geräumiges Badezimmer mit großzügigem Duschbereich. Wenn Sie kochen möchten, stehen Ihnen diese Einrichtungen ebenfalls zur Verfügung. Schöne, großzügige Wohnung

Moderne Wohnung mit Allem vorhanden was für den Aufenthalt benötigt wird. Waren im Sommer dort, bei geöffneten Fenstern naheliegender Zug deutlich zu hören. Würzburg sehr schnell mit dem Zug erreichbar.
