The property was a convenient location. It was very basic but good value for money for a one night stay. The room was extremely basic didn’t have a sofa to sit in the living area had to sit on the bed. The bed in the living area was broken. However the property was clean.

Big unit, clean and quiet since it's off the main road, needs a little bit of updating, however perfect for our budget with 3 teenagers in tow.

My family had a great time staying at Fernleaf Motel. We stayed in a 2bedroom apartment. Very tidy . Hot pool and mineral bath is a bonus. Close to city too. And Cherie is lovely .

Basic unit

Pros: It has a good mineral pool. Netflics was available for viewing
Cons: More comforts. Floor coverings in the bathroom. Electric blanket on the bed
Location: Rotorua has many sights to see. It has activities worth visiting.
The motel was stuck out the back and was not appealing. It was a bit of a surprise and should have been disclosed with the description of the unit. There was no control of the heating and no electric blanket on the bed or floor coverings in the bathroom. I would only recommend this motel to a friend after explaining the facilities.

Thank you for your review, if I may I would like to reply to some of your points. A bonus we have here is Netflix is free as is unlimited WIFI. We have a bathmat in the shower, so I am unsure what you expect in a shower room as in flooring. We have geothermal heating that is in all rooms therefore electric blankets are unnecessary. There are spare blankets in the room as well. Many people say how lovely the room is and don't mind the privacy they get being behind our other units beside the mineral pool, we feel the tarriff reflects what is on offer in that particular studio unit. I am disappointed to receive your review and I am sorry the room wasn't comfortable for you. Regards Wendy

Great location

Pros: The location and roominess were great.
Cons: The shower didn't seem to have a cold setting and the bathroom was a bit tired.
Location: The motel is near Kuirau Park and an easy walk into town.
This is a pleasant well appointed and quiet motel with a well set up kitchen and a lovely pool. There was lots of room for 2 adults and 2 children.
