The staff at this resort are all marvelous and the rooms are terrific. However the location was just too remote for me...with no restaurants, supermarkets, shops, gas stations anywhere nearby. Also, the road between this resort and Roseau is in very poor condition and is dangerous.

The grounds are stunningly beautiful. Almost worth 10/10 in itself but a couple of things are below par. The pool area is neglected and needs some investment, eg new lounger cushions that can withstand the rain. The food is hit and miss. Breakfast generally very good but a bit chaotic. It really lacks attention to detail by some experienced food and beverage eyes! Although they reply to all ratings it seems to me no actions have been taken regarding some complaints. Eg I still got plastic straws!

The food was all delicious; the pool refreshing and nearby river and ocean spectacular, watched the sunrise every morning from the benches near the beach and had dinner every night at the restaurant - pizzas and everything on menu fantastic as are the drinks from the bar

Amenities, food, service all well below standard. At $450 per night when there is no fresh supplies of sugar and no milk for your coffee you have to wait 20 minutes for service and then you are charged for the milk! The kitchen could not cook simple things like Chicken or a fried egg. It was so bad we had to leave after two nights, forfeiting the third night which was not refundable at $450.

Fabulous place with amazing staff. Included breakfast is top tier. Sure, it’s far from many of the activities on the island, but it is an incredible place to slow down and recharge. We wouldn’t hesitate to return

The resort was very accommodating and the room was large and the bathroom was very nice and clean. The pool was very nice and clean. We enjoyed the seeing the ocean from our balcony.

Room basic, safe not working, no master key, no hairdrier, no medical kit. Website states no plastic straws but in use even after telling them, band by Dominica gov. Limited menu and then could not provide choice, did not have ginger ale. Waited an hour for hot breakfast cereal. Only filtered coffee no cappuccino etc. Eco resort! Gardeners using 2 stroke noisy blowers why not battery. Plastic on beach, could ask customers to pick up a piece to help eco! Finally beautiful location.

It was a nice getaway one night stay. Only the curtains don’t pull properly and the back door doesn’t lock properly. Hope they get fixed.
