This is an excellent apartment with excellent hosts which serves a short stay superbly
The apartment is excellent with the beach a 7 minute walk away and the all Spanish Tapas restaurants a 5 minutes stroll . These restaurants get very busy with the posh one needing reservations most of the time (or a wait for a table). Note avoid the Marina for food its appalling and seems to cater for the brit abroad brigade (I'm a Brit and cant stand this mentality) There is the Gran Plaza opposite which caters for all supermarket needs ect ect . The apartment itself is large with two great bedrooms and two toilets , clean and well stocked with pots ,pans,towels ect . if there is one negative (this prevented all 5 stars) its the view from the balcony , it does look straight onto the main road ,whilst noise is there we did not find it intrusive. Transport (if no car like us) is by Bus , bus stop opposite gran plaza , this goes to Almeria ,then you can pick up buses to other destinations from there. Its very cheap ,air con comfy buses The private swimming pool included in this apartment is far greater than the pictures show ! its large very clean and salt water not chlorine based. A thank you to the host Dolores and her Husband who meet us within 5 mins of arrival , escorted us to the apartment then left us to it , just the kind of hosts you want . All in all myself and two daughters (14 and 16) had a superb 5 night stay

True Spanish experience.
The apartment was everything that we expected. It was close to shops and amenities and a 10 minute walk to the beach. Overall, a fantastic experience.

Property was more than adequate in size, good location to old town, bus route, beach, supermarket.
The apartment was well equipped with everything you need for a long stay. Delores and Domingo (owners) were most friendly. The location was close to the town and beach. Bars and restaurants were easy within walking distance along with supermarkets. We only experienced one problem with the property and that was the electrics. When cooking, even with switching all other electrical appliances off the power continually tripped. This was not only frustrating and inconvenient but worrying from a health & safety perspective. The trip switch turning off was not specific to the kitchen but was the main trip switch. We reported this to the owners and they called in an electrician who suggested a replacement hob which was immediately purchased and installed, however this did not remedy the problem. My wife and me are retired and travel a great deal and are accustomed with living in long stay apartments. We are not ones for complaining but we felt this problem was serious. Delores mentioned that an electrician would have to return to check the electrics. We only hope this happens for the benefit of future occupants. If you prefer a busy location Roquetas does not offer this over the Christmas and New Year period. There is a large market every Thursday on the avenue that runs parallel to the street where the apartment is situated.

Home from home
What a great week, we have just had. Delores and Domingo met us in the apartment and gave us essential information and then I contacted Delores by WhatsApp with any queries. The apartment is spacious and had everything we needed. The air conditioning was effective and quiet and the furniture comfortable. The setting is residential so felt safe and secure. The balcony overlooks a nearby road and when we stayed there, the circus was setting up opposite. There is a clean pool available that we used a couple of times. The beach is five minutes walk away and there is a lovely promenade that stretches for miles. We walked to the other side of the town along the beach, stopping for food and drinks on the way, and after a couple of miles came across hotels and more touristy bars. There are lovely restaurants near the apartment near the theatre and also a Lidl for the essentials. For any Brits who don’t speak Spanish - take a translation app as all signs, menus and people you meet probably won’t speak English. Although daunting at first, everyone is very patient and it added to the adventure of ordering meals. We soon got into the Spanish way of siestas, tapas, late swims and even later evening meals. If you want night clubs, British pubs and souvenir shops, don’t go here.. if you want a relaxed quiet holiday with a nice apartment, beach, food, drink and a real Spanish experience then this is it.

Great apartment in a great location
The apartment was an excellent place to stay, it had everything required for the few days we stayed there. Furnished to a high standard with access to underground parking and heating or air conditioning if required. The location of the apartment was ideally situated close to a major shopping centre , and even an outdoor market right outside on Thursday's. We would highly recommend and Delores, the owner, was very helpful.

Schöne große Wohnung in Roquetas de Mar
Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Roquetas. Die Wohnung war schön groß und hell, Eine Klimaanlage sowie eine Heizung waren vorhanden und fuktionieten gut. Die wohnung war mir allem wie bei FeWo direkt beschrieben ausgestattet. Leider hatten wir in unmittelbarer nähe 2 Gaststätten die bis nachts (2 Uhr ) geöffnet hatten. Zudem wurde wärend unseres aufenthaltes die Wasserleitung erneuert. Die Arbeiten fanden aber hauptsächlich nachts statt und wir hatten nur wenig Einschränkungen. Auch wurden wir von Dolores Santander über die Arbeiten informiert und so konnten wir Vorkehrungen treffen. Zur Wohnung gehörte auch eine Tiefgarage die mit einem Aufzug erreichbar war, so konnten wir unseren Leihwagen sicher parken.

Bien situado. Limpio y con todo lo necesario para estar como en casa
Tanto Dolores como su marido muy cordiales. La climatización es central por lo que no hace ningún ruido y la distribución de la temperatura es perfecta. En la cocina se dispone de todo. Evitando tener que comprar esos detalles que al final no consumes ni la mitad ( sal, especies, jabón. Papel de cocina,....) La vivienda es muy recomendable para pasar unos días de vacaciones.
