The exterior of the building is a bit misleading, but once you step inside, you're greeted with a modern and elegant interior. Our room was on the first floor, facing the street, which could get noisy at times—so I’d recommend bringing a good pair of earplugs. The room itself was spacious and included a Nespresso pod machine, which made for a delightful start to the morning.

Firstly the positives, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was well equipped but no shelf to put any items. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was very good. There are restaurants nearby used one which was okay, a Chinese which was very good. There are a few shops nearby and a Macdonalds. What wasn’t so good is the entrance to the hotel is just two wooden doors, there is no sign to say Vatican Style just in small writing on side of door is intercom, which we found after some help from a friendly local, the Receptionist said come to 4th floor but did not explain up steps to very small lift, lift only takes one person with luggage as we are all over 70 had to lift cases up steps to lift and take turns to get to 4th floor. We were given 6th floor my sister who was on her own 4th floor, their security system worked well. Facilities in room only coffee machine serving expresso with very small cups, sorry but this doesn’t cater for English who love their tea, no kettle, but did have fridge with water, juice and soft drinks. first two bottles of water free.

Nearly perfect place to stay in Roma. Steps from St. Peter’s & Musei Vaticani, and a few minutes from Piazza Resorgimento and the Ottaviano bus & metro stops. Extremely quiet at night. Staff is attentive. McDonald’s is across the street and the Tonnarello restaurant is just a block down the street (highly recommended, good value, try the Pinsu). We took taxis and Ubers to place not well connected to the transit network which was fine. Room was made up every day while we were gone, a service we haven’t been getting even at 4- & 5-star hotels. Towels were good quality, shower was great, bathroom had plenty of space to spread out. Two chairs at the table, and we had a balcony room with two chairs on the balcony (most hotels just give you one chair these days). Coffee machine with very good capsules. Plenty of power outlets. Smart TV with ability to customize YouTube, Netflix, etc. Pleasantly surprised at their hitting all the details. If you come here from the airport, take a taxi since the fixed price of an airport taxi plus the cost of a taxi from termini is about the same (cheaper for 3-4 people) as taking the train from the airport unless you have very little luggage.

Room reviews: Great location, very close to St Peter Basilica , within 3-5 minutes walk. It is an old building but remodeled. Room is spacious than the one we stayed last year,which is clean and lighting is great. Bathroom is big, facilities are adequate , water pressure is strong and could be very hot. Lighting is special with changing colour. Staff is friendly and tries to help. Kind reminder: need to walk seven steps up to reach the lift inside the building; shower tub drainage is weak, water goes slowly. May be drain is clogged; Towel warmer can’t be switched on in the room, and only will be used in winter time, could not dry the towels then; No hooks for hanging clothes or towels in the bathroom; Room is not soundproof as I can hear talking or noise from the corridor or next room or upper level; Only two free bottles of water provided though we stayed for three nights, hopefully two free bottles of water could be provided each day. Overall, we feel comfortable to stay in and recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at the Vatican Style and was thoroughly impressed. The location is very close to the Vatican, and close to local restaurants and shops. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with friendly and efficient service. The check-in process was smooth, and the room was spacious, and clean. The bed was comfortable and there was very little noise from the street. I loved the complimentary touches the toiletries, bath salts and coffee. The bath/jacuzzi was very relaxing, the staff were friendly and were able to provide helpful recommendations of the local areas and transport options. Overall, Vatican Style exceeded my expectations and was perfect place for us to stay while w exploring Rome.

The building is good, very close to the Sistine Chapel, but the staff is terrible and very disorganized. We arrived at the hotel at 2 pm. We were knocking on the door for almost half an hour to check in, but no one answered. We called by phone and they told us that they were about to open, but another 15 minutes passed until an employee arrived, but she came in very quickly and didn't hear us when we told her that we had a reservation. We called again by phone and until then they opened and we were able to enter to check in. I hope the hotel administrators see this comment and do something so that other guests don't have to wait like we did.
