It was okay! The shower had mould in it, and there was trash in the trash cans when we checked in, but other than that it was fairly clean. Location is okay too! 20 minute walk to most places!

The property was adequate, and the room was spacious if very dated. What stands out is the close proximity to the colosseum. The area was generally quiet overall a lovely stay

BARELY 2-STAR PROPERTY

Who said this is a 4 star hotel?!!! This is barely 2-star motel in a very bad shape, old and worn out. Bed mattress is sink, show head broken, dirt all over the place. Front desk speaks broken English and is not helpful with requests. This place is NOT safe at nights and is FAR from the center.

The hotel is well located. The room we had was small, and so was the bathroom. The bidet was too close to the shower, making it very difficult to get in. The soap bottles in the shower and sink were empty. I put them outside the bathroom so they'd notice when they cleaned, but when I returned, I found them in the same place and still empty. The breakfast was good.

First the good - the front counter staff were very helpful when asked for things (i.e wake up calls, cabs, information) and patient with language barrier issues. Now the bad - The room was not as advertised. Bathroom was in disrepair. Almost zero soundproofing, you could hear all your neighbors bathroom activities, flushes, showers and even taking a number 2. Housekeeping staff on one occasion left our door open (thankfully nothing was missing, anyone could have walked in). No water pressure to fill tub, not that you would want a bath with their dirty jet heads. Definately not a four star hotel, or we were the unfortunate folks who got shafted with the worst room in the hotel.

Good location but needs to improve upkeep

Stayed for 4 nights — overall a decent stay, but with a few issues. The location is excellent: just a short walk to the Colosseum and close to the metro, which made exploring the rest of the city really easy. The bed was very comfortable, which helped after long days of walking. However, a few things fell short. The description of amenities wasn’t fully accurate — there was no airport shuttle, even though it was listed. Parts of the room looked worn: chipped paint on the door, jets in the bath that seemed old and unclean, and fake nails left on the floor, which clearly had been missed by housekeeping. We didn’t have much interaction with staff, so can’t really comment on service.

I was offered a room with broken toilet seat, i requested to get it replaced. They gave me the smelly room, i agreed to stay in the same room woth broken toilet seat. I was charged for a bottle of water. The kitchen & cleaing staffs were friendly but the reception staff were not friendly.

Hotel is limited. Rooms too hot. Aircon not allowed in rooms “until June”! Rooms clean but very small. Bar closes early. No room service food. Lack of irons available for those staying in business. No gym.
